In an effort to pay off my loan eary, I have been penalized with intrest and late fees. I acquired a personal loan of $2500 in October 2015. I actually have two loans with them, the other is a car loan. I mentioned that because on one occasion I attempted to double up on the car loan and this complany split the payment between the loans. They did this even though I sent in separate invoices.The reason for my complaint is that in an effort to pay off the $2500 early. I made the mistake of doubling up on the payments in January 2015. In a nutshell this resulted in a $15.00 late fee and $108.00 applied to the intrest of the loan. The scheduled payments are $145.00. After I doubled up on the payments my next payment balloned up to $184.00. They then charged me for partial payment for the next month. ( Even though they said o was due. The CR stated that the charges were due to daily interest. Basically if I now know if I double up on the payments then it will screw up the computer system that they use. I have been paying bills for a long time. I have never experienced a loan handled this way.
