Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not happy with the reply written by the owner, [redacted] , who would never return our calls when this issue first arosePerhaps if he would have called my husband back or taken my husband's calls when he reached out to [redacted] to try to rectify this problem last summer, I would not have felt the need to contact the Revdex.com.*** has minimized the problems with my cabinetsBy the way, [redacted] has NEVER seen the problems with the cabinets It was not merely an issue of them not being installed in time It was and is a plethora of problems that we had and are still having with this company It began with an issue of the cabinets being mismeasured Then a new plan was constructed so that the cabinets could be used, but the doors needed to be redone because they no longer fit the cabinets, Then, I was given a warped door, being told they hoped it would straighten out It took over three months to get the issue of the door fixed (and it's still not the correct shade of white because the glaze they put on the cabinets has yellowed and they can't match it) Ultimately, however, it is the fact that the lacquer on my cabinet doors AND frames is crackingTo tell me that cracking lacquer is to be expected as my cabinets are made of wood is ludicrous As I told [redacted] , the sample I was shown did not have any signs of cracking, and had I known, I would not have allowed them to use it I didn't even request lacquer, I only asked for a soft white painted cabinet that was easy to clean [redacted] was the one who wrote up the order for the lacquerI cannot clean these cabinets as I'd like to, as I am afraid that the lacquer will chip off Just repairing the one cabinet door is not an acceptable cure After contacting a painter, the only way to rectify this problem is to sand off the lacquer and repaint with a quality enamel I was informed that this was the material that should have been applied originally Unless Sun Country is willing to do this, and quite frankly I'm am not confident in their ability to do a satisfactory job; or at least pay for it to be done by a reputable painter, I'm afraid we are at an impasseI will thus be forced to leave my complaint about their company with the Revdex.com Regards, [redacted]

Hello Marie, I am sorry that it has taken me this long to respond to this matter At this point it will not matter what we do or say to Mrs***, nothing will fix her problem If this painter thinks that he has all the answers I recommend that she have him come in and take care of the situation We are willing to send a check for $to the ***’s and they can have the problem taken care of If this is agreeable, this matter needs to be put to rest and her claim needs to be withdrawn and we can all move forward I’m sorry that she feels that she did not get what she paid for, but we have done many many homes in the colored lacquers in many types of door styles (including the style that we used in her home) and have not had any call backs except on her home I hope that she finally gets what she is looking for. Sincerely, *** ***--Owner

In response to this complaint, we have been in business for 30+ years and have never had a complaint filed with your company. I find it hard to believe that we would not have taken care of this one. I understand the client's frustration of the warped door, which was taken care of and
replaced with a new door. When it was replaced the color on the door was not quite the matching color so it was brought back several times before the client was happy. As far as the doors cracking, there was a door that had a small crack at the joint where it is assembled together. There is nothing that I can do to stop that from happening. I can bring back that door and caulk the joint and relacquer it. The owner was made aware that there may be more doors that might crack in the same location. I have not been made aware of any more at this time. The real problem that I can see with this client is that they were given an installation date and it was not met. There were some issues with some of the cabinets not fitting correctly, but that was all taken care of as quick as possible. It may not have been taken care of as soon as they wanted it to be, but it takes time to get new doors made and delivered to us. I would be more than happy to visit with this client and see what we can do to solve this issue. Please let me know what the next step is.Thank you ,*** ***Sun Country Woodworks

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not happy with the reply written by the owner, *** ***, who would never return our calls when this issue first arose. Perhaps if he would have called my husband back or taken my husband's calls when he reached out to *** to try to rectify this problem last summer, I would not have felt the need to contact the Revdex.com.*** has minimized the problems with my cabinets. By the way, *** has NEVER seen the problems with the cabinets. It was not merely an issue of them not being installed in time. It was and is a plethora of problems that we had and are still having with this company. It began with an issue of the cabinets being mismeasured. Then a new plan was constructed so that the cabinets could be used, but the doors needed to be redone because they no longer fit the cabinets, Then, I was given a warped door, being told they hoped it would straighten out. It took over three months to get the issue of the door fixed (and it's still not the correct shade of white because the glaze they put on the cabinets has yellowed and they can't match it). Ultimately, however, it is the fact that the lacquer on my cabinet doors AND frames is crackingTo tell me that cracking lacquer is to be expected as my cabinets are made of wood is ludicrous. As I told *** ***, the sample I was shown did not have any signs of cracking, and had I known, I would not have allowed them to use it. I didn't even request lacquer, I only asked for a soft white painted cabinet that was easy to clean*** *** was the one who wrote up the order for the lacquer. I cannot clean these cabinets as I'd like to, as I am afraid that the lacquer will chip off. Just repairing the one cabinet door is not an acceptable cure. After contacting a painter, the only way to rectify this problem is to sand off the lacquer and repaint with a quality enamel. I was informed that this was the material that should have been applied originally. Unless Sun Country is willing to do this, and quite frankly I'm am not confident in their ability to do a satisfactory job; or at least pay for it to be done by a reputable painter, I'm afraid we are at an impasseI will thus be forced to leave my complaint about their company with the Revdex.com
