In response to the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted] on December 4, 2014.  Our client Montelano Apartments originally obtained an eviction Judgment against [redacted] for non-payment of rent..  In addition to the judgment Montelano also assigned a collection...

account to our office for Lease Break Fees and Move Out charges.  I have included this statement and a copy of the original Judgment.  The original Judgment would expire on 12-22-14 if not renewed.   Our office renewed this Judgment with the [redacted] on 10-23-14.  Our office has discontinued collecting on the non-Judgment account and we are currently pursuing the original Judgment amount and fees and interest $1735.59.  Our office did discuss a settlement but did not agree on an amount.  I personally am willing to discuss a settlement option with Ms. [redacted].  She can contact me directly at ###-###-#### ex[redacted].  If you require any additional information please contact my office.

Thank you for your effort in assisting us to get this resolved.  I have attached a copy of the Judgment that was obtained on 1-25-15.  This document shows that [redacted] appeared in person at this Judgment hearing and was aware of the ruling at that time.  My client has agreed to accept the account for the Judgment Order plus interest.

These charges are validate I never received a bill in the mail outlining what these charges were for from the collection agency.  I have a right as a consumer to receive a billing statement from the collection agency prior to the collection agency destorying my credit .  This was not done I dispute the validity of these charges therefore, I have made a official complaint with Office of the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer financial Protection Bureau regarding the actions and conduct of this collection agency it was fraudulent.
