Hi ***It was nice speaking with you in regards to the complaint. Apologies for the delay as well.Per our conversation, Mrs*** *** came into our shop on 7/14/to have her Oppo DVD player fixed. She stated that it didn't have any power to the unit. I wrote up an
invoice with the initial complaint, disregarded the $estimate fee, and ran some diagnostics within a week to determine what was wrong. After a week, I informed her that the repair would roughly cost $w/ tax and got her approval to repair. Since it didn't have any power, I tried replacing the capacitor which still didn't fix the problem. The unit required additional parts that weren't readily available and I told her that it would be best not to repair. I replaced the original capacitor to the unit and gave it back to her as it was received I've been in business for over years and when something is not repairable or if the client doesn't want to repair after the estimate is given, we always return it as it was originally received. It doesn't make sense that she's claiming additional damages from our shop when the unit originally didn't work at all... I am rejecting this response because:Please let [redacted] know to be an honest man much more important then a Boss in a store.I am a forgiven person and as long as he will fix my DVD I will let it go.*A. How could he know the total cost $70 before he realizes the parts were unavailable?b. The DVD stayed there one week, I was called to pick it upc. I asked "sound video repair store" located on fotlon rod. to check it be here I took it to [redacted] store. I wanted to confirm the repair price. Review: On July 14, 2015. I took my DVD player to the store located on [redacted]. Tel. [redacted] Coloma TV. [redacted] called me after 1 week and asked me take it back. I found some damages in my DVD player when I took it back later. Technician also told me someone damaged it on purpose looks like.Desired Settlement: This is immoral and very bad behavior. I asked $69 for the damages fee.
