Colonial Financial Group

This company is the absolute derge of financial institutions. The representative they assigned me to is a total ***. Rude and lazy. I have had issues with this company from the beginning and can only hope they go out of business soon. Word of caution, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH company.

I was contacted by CFG offering financial consultation services with regard to my credit card liability. I was told by a CFG employee that I qualify for a credit card with 0% interest for 15 months then was assured they will find another 0% credit card before the introductory offer expired. I paid CFG's service fee in good faith, expecting an opportunity to help lower my debt. To the best of my recollection, neither CFG nor the credit card institution mentioned the interest rate after 15 months would be 22.24%. Had I known that during the initial telephone call I would have rejected the offer altogether. Upon questioning, I was told this is the best offer, that all credit card interest rates are high after 0% promotions and again was assured by the CFG employee they would find another credit card promotion before I would have to pay the interest.

Colonial Financial Group, LLC offers in the agreement a 30-day money back guarantee
for services rendered but once paid the fee cannot be disputed. Not surprisingly, taking customers' money is the only guarantee CFG does offer. CFG does not guarantee the quality of service and even disclaims statements made by employees are 'opinion only' and not supported by CFG.

Colonial Financial called me offering 0% interest for five years on all me credit card debt. They charged me a fee of $*** and provided no such service. I am now $*** more in debt with no improvement to my interest rates whatsoever. When I first tried to contact Colonial Financial the did not answer and their was no voice mail. When I was eventually able to contact them they informed me they would refund my capitol one credit card. After three weeks I still has not been a refund issued.
