Review: It's been over a year and we are still having problems with our heating and air conditioning. We almost made it through the entire summer last year with a broken AC unit that flooded with water behind our walls until we called corporate and they finally decided to replace it. Since then, we've had trouble with the thermostat being wired incorrectly. The heat stays on nonstop when we set the thermostat to 46 degrees which makes it a whopping 88 degrees in the house. Despite numerous complaints about the AC only blowing cool air at night we were told a HVAC company would be called. Work order Number 4 and no air. The thermostat has to be set at 67 in order to blow any cool air. The temp in our apartment is normally in the 80's while the AC unit is running. I informed the leasing office I would be calling an HVAC company myself and would deduct any service fees and repairs from the rent. They eagerly persuaded me not to do so by promising to call a company themselves if the air was still not working. To date, it has not been done.Desired Settlement: Hire a HVAC company to assess and repair the AC unit at their expense.
