Review: The receptionist told me on 02/21/3012 that the insurance would cover all procedures at the end of my visit that day. 6 months later, I receive a bill of $300 from the dentist's office. So, I called and spoke to the same receptionist asking for an explanation on the procedures made, as I thought everything was covered. Her short and rude response was "Since you have a secondary insurance, you need to provide that information to us or pay the full amount or we will take you to collection," then hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a manager, her response was "I am the manager, don't call back again," and hung up. I called my insurance company for an explanation, they said that this must be a communication error and convinced him to call and speak to her directly. He conference called her and told her that the secondary insurance was in error and so it was removed. The receptionist confirmed that I have no balance.Another 6 months later (2/27/14) I received a bill of $60 with no explanation or description besides the name of the practice, and how much I owed. This time I went to the dentist's office and it was the same receptionist, she snatched the document from my hand and told me that I have a secondary insurance and that I owed the practice $60. When I asked for details on where this $60 is coming from 1 year later, she refused to share any information because the reasons were "internal."I called my insurance from my office and the person I talked to said this was resolved a long time ago, he agreed to stay on the phone while I conference called the practice. The same receptionist picked up the phone and after the insurance person confirmed that there is no secondary insurance she told me "you have to pay $60, because your insurance isn't covering it," and then hung up! I called back and asked to speak to a someone else and she said there is no one else to speak to and hung up! I waited a while and called back and she hung!My options: 1- Pay for no reason2- collectionDesired Settlement: Refund.
