suffered storm (hail) damage The area was hit with two significant hail storms on March 27th and again on May 1. We always ask that any customer requesting an estimate for repairs that will ultimately be funded by an insurance claim, sign a contingent agreement. This agreement is contingent upon the property owner’s insurance company’s approval of a claim. This protects us, the property owners’ insurance carrier and often the bank or mortgage lender from persons who may attempt to file a claim for damages to the property and not use the insurance proceeds to properly repair the property. The agreement is not binding unless the insurance company approves a claim and may be cancelled.Further, the complainant registered the complaint before any dialogue about the matter occurred and we were unaware of any problems until after the complaint was filed. In summary we contend that the complaint is both unwarranted and unfair.
