In November 2014, I brought my dog in as an emergencyUpon evaluation it was determined he needed to be inpatient due to the nature of the caseI stated after receiving a quote that I cannot pay this amount in a lump sumThey advised of payment plans, but first I must (again) apply for care creditI had applied for care credit the month prior while putting a cat down that was my mothers - on her accountCare credit was declined as my identity was stolen and I had a block on my creditWe figured out the number of months in payments, I signed in agreement, my debit card front and back were copied and documented, my drivers license was as wellI left knowing it was handled and I would pick my dog up within the next hrs when no longer ill (me must have eaten something in the backyard)I go visit my dog, staff is friendlyReceive a call an hour later I may pick up my dogI arrive waiting to have the dog and the woman states I owe over todayI showed her the agreement I signed the day earlier and advised my info is on fileShe said my account already had a payment plan on it and could not have anotherThis was my dog and my account that no other animal has been on there was no way I had a prior arrangementThey combined my account with my mothers accountI am over years oldMy permanent address due to confidentiality reasons with my identity being stolen is my parents home addressHowever, this is not their animal and it just so happens we all live in Carmel - as do my uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparentsMy account number is even different, but the office manager demanded the money up frontThe technician went and brought the office manager to discuss options with me, which were already handled the day beforeShe says she cannot find the paper workI am a federal employee and understand my rightsShe says if I do not have th money to *** somethingShe stated she could offer me *** shops to go to nowthis woman is screaming at me at this point and all I want is my dog that is in the back barking and whining because he hears her shouting at meThey also muzzled my dog to try to "shut him the hell up." He is a cnhoundshe said I can go figure out what I'm going to do but as far as she is concerned there is no payment agreement since my family already had one for their dead cat the facility put downI advised her she is being recorded with a police officer on the other line as we speakShe said great, threw her hands up, slammed the paperwork downI stated my dog is upset and you are going to keep him and cost the facility more money to feed and care for him than let him go to my care? I signed what was required, you took my forms, here is a copy, I am here for my dogShe screamed at the top of her lungs that I needed to get the money because she will not let my dog go withoutI sat down, called I am on the line with dispatch and she screams at the top of her lungs at meCustomers leaveI advise dispatch what is happening and they send a police officerThe officer bypasses me and goes back to talk to them upon arrivingShe comes in with the forms I signed (a copied version) to make new payment arrangementsThey still did not have my card or licenseThey need my work infoLegally, I was covered by an act than t I did not have to provide them with that information or I can charge them with a federal crimeShe demandedI gave my old employers number before I was a federal employeeShe said it was my fatherI said okayIt wasn't my fatherAn hour later under the officers watch I walked out with my dog, a bag of dog food, medicine, and a terrible experienceIt is illegal to tell me to sell my jewelry, car, itemsShe didShe put down my education, my field of work, and who I amShe made fun of my ageShe made fun of my financial situationShe mocked me quoting their websiteThis was not just the manager, but three technicians that came in and outNever will I ever use this facilityThey also failed to debit my account and sent it straight to a collections agency

Being new to the state, I opted for this location because their website promoted ethical treatment and appeared state of the art. I left my 10 year old Papillon (dog) to have a dental cleaning with possible extractions and to have a cystic wart removed. However, when I returned to pick her up and paid $700, I was aghast at the state she was in. I received my dog back in a disoriented state with dried blood and vomit crusted to her whole face. She whimpered for nearly 4 hours at home which has NEVER occurred before. Much to my surprise the cystic wart wasn't entirely removed. An antibiotic was not administered or given for take home until I returned the next day per the advice of my Baltimore vet and insisted that my dog receive antibiotics after having gone through a medical procedure. When I finally discussed everything with the vet, her response was merely a saddened face with no believable explanation on some issues and no explanation at all on the other issues.

Along with a slew of other things that happened, I think it is obvious I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever. In fact the experience was so horrible for my dog that I will likely tell other people not to go here. For the amount of money this cost and the care my dog was given, I could've driven to Baltimore over the weekend and had all of this done right. As a dog owner who honestly would give her life for her dog, I felt like I received my dog back after having left her to be violated. I wish I had checked to see if this was a Revdex.com business before I had chosen to leave my dog in the care of this place!

On a positive side note, the office staff were nice and the facility was clean.
