Complaint[redacted] store owner is OVERLY disrespectful!I made a purchase at the competitive edge ski store in Holyoke, Ma. I paid by personal check! A few days later [redacted] ([redacted]) contacted me saying the check didn't go through! I explained how sorry I was as it was a simple mistake and that I would get to him asap seeing I am dealing with Cancer and going through Chemo! I ended up unable to make it in the time frame I stated but made sure I called to let him know! I left a message with a girl who answered the phone! I was told by [redacted] if I didn't get down to him to pay he would take other steps and take me to court! I at that point stated to him I will mail him payment and to please let me know when he got it! I sent that a week ago and I am yet to receive a call back! If he didn't get it yet then I would put a stop payment on it and get him another one! I am just wanting to know why a store owner would be sooooooo rude and disrespectful! I am by no means trying to stiff him of his money. I have a lot to deal with seeing I was given 6 months to live through my cancer! I am looking for someone to email me and let me know how I can make sure that he got my payment! And after he gets it I will NEVER step foot in either store! The one in East Longmeadow or Holyoke!! Very sad he treats people like that!! Desired SettlementI am looking to make sure he received my payment and for him to contact me VIA email and let me know! If he hasn't received it then I will make sure and send it out again and cancel the other payment I sent!! Business Response We received a check returned for insufficient funds. After a reasonable amount of time we contacted [redacted]. She said she would get a new check to us the following week. We did not get the check in that amount of time so we contacted her again. She explained that she was going through cancer treatments. My wife had a similar condition, so I was sympathetic to her. We received the second check and contacted [redacted] to let her know. We assume that this check will clear with no problem.
