Review: In the spring of 2012 we had an air conditioning unit installed by Complete Heating and Sheet Metal. At the beginning of the summer of 2014, after only two seasons of use, we noticed an extremely loud buzzing noise that made it very undesireable to be outside in our yard while the unit was running.

After consulting with an out-of-state relative who works in the heating and air conditioning business, we decided to have some maintenance performed on our a/c unit and bought a regular maintenance package with another local business. We simply went with the business with the best price. The worker completed the maintenance on the unit and reported that the source of the buzzing was a contactor that had been damaged during installation. He told us that the person who had installed the unit had bent the terminal ends on the contactor as a short-cut to avoid having to use tools to connect the unit. He refused to fix it and told us to return to the company that had performed the installation as the part was probably still under warranty and they should replace it free of charge.

I called Complete Heating and spoke to the manager in charge of a/c installation. I told him of our problem and asked that the labor be performed free of charge since the faulty part was damaged during installation. I wish I knew or remembered the name of the man I spoke to because I have never received such horrible customer service in my life. He was extremely rude and condescending in how he spoke to me, mocked our decision for buying a maintenance package with another company, suggested that the maintenance worker was lying to us, and then told me "it's only $100, why don't you just pay for it." When I told him that he should fix it because, whether intentional or unintentional, the problem was created by his employee, he told me that he does not "work for free." Aside from the terrible customer service, I find it dishonest to create problems in a product and then later charge to fix them.Desired Settlement: I would like the faulty part replaced free of charge so that the unit functions properly and without buzzing within 2 weeks of settlement.

Complete put in our AC unit, residential 2000sq home, in the summer of 2012. In the spring of 2014 we heard a loud buzzing. They wouldn't come look at it without $100 plus diagnostic fee even though it was still covered by warrantee. We contacted another maintenance provider who told us that the noise was because the installation was done poorly, the 'clips were bent' to help something fit better. They recommended we have Complete come back and fix it. When we called Complete they denied anything could have been done wrong and wouldn't even come look at it without the #100 plus fee and then it would be an additional fee to repair. The rep was rude, demeaning and even mocked us for going with someone else! Absolutely ridiculous. I paid you to install an AC unit. You did a POOR job and then refuse to fix your mistake and mock ME about it. I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE TO ANYONE.
