American Standard Auto Protection has contacted Mr [redacted] today, and left a voice mail ASAP apologizes to Mr [redacted] for any inconvenience he has experience ASAP will be forwarding Mr [redacted] a reimbursement check for the covered claim, of which he has submitted a repair bill on file ASAP Claims Dept

etter Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, however I would like to note that "American Standard Auto Protection" (ASAP) did not act in faith in returning my money as they promisedThey said it would take a maximum of business days to receive my refundIt actually took them business days, which is actually an addition month and a weekThank you, because I feel they would still be holding onto my money and playing games had I not reached out to the Revdex.com Regards,

Denied my claim because the department store didn't put my VIN number on my receipt for the oil and filter for of my oil changes They refunded $to my soon to be ex wife's acct after I told them and wrote them it was no longer a joint account They sent two payments to an account that I provided a letter stating it was closed and are still holding over $with no answers They have dodged dozens and dozens of e mails and phone calls over the past months They are crooked and the reviews they are getting proves it This company is a scam Not sure who the bigger crook is Robert B [redacted] or Alex G [redacted] If prosecution by the Revdex.com is an option, I would LOVE to participate

ASAP has reviewed the customer's complaintASAP believes the customer has misunderstood the processPlease note, the customer purchased service contract for a total purchase price of $1,700, however the customer has paid to date $ ASAP will cancel the customers VSC and refund the customer's credit card account for the amount of $741.68, which represents the entire amount deducted from his credit card account, $766.68, less a $Cancellation feeThe customer states, the VSC would have been automatically cancelled due to his nonpaymentWe believe the customer should have contacted a customer service person to explain his financial circumstancesThe customer is correctAlthough the VSC would be cancelled for nonpayment, ASAP would still be responsible to refund him on the initial payment of $300.00, less a cancellation fee of $25.00, but he failed to do so at that point in timeASAP hopes the customer recognizes our business as one of integrity and honestyIn closing, the customer may expect his refund in the next business daysASAP is happy to have assisted this customer to better understand the processes, and to resolve this amicably

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAfter filing this complaint I had another issue with this company stalling my vehicle fixed as they state in their response they delayed my repair because they felt that my repair shop was not truthful When my repair shop was called by asap the shop informed asap that the drive shaft my need replaced because they could not find the yolk alone When my repair shop called the JEEP dealer they were informed by Jeep (which I double checked) that they yolk and drive shaft were not sold seperate for each other My main complaint was that I wanted my vehicle fixed and I wanted to be treated like a human being (which never happened, until after this company took their time and proved that they were in control because it took weeks to get my vehicle repaired)As ASAP mentions in their response they delayed getting my vehicle fixed because they felt the repair shop I have used for a very long time LIED ASAP called my shop and told them that they could send out the yolk that day and then the yolk was not mailed out until I called A WEEK LATER and had to talk to several different people for they person I was dealing with to FINALLY return a phone callThe problem was that they were RUDE DISRESPECTFUL, and NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLYAfter all is said and done I am happy that my Jeep is fixed but I am still not happy about the way I was treated and I am very nervous about ever having to use this warranty againYes ASAP did offer a loaner car for hoursI work for a living like most people and I was without my vehicle for right around three weeks, they only offered a loaner car after yelling and calling me a liarSo, in conclussion, I am not happy about the way I was treated, but I am glad that my vehicle was repaired

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [I dropped my car at the shop and it took the shop days to get it diagnosedNext the shop contacted ASAP and let them know what needed to be fixedAsap wanted a written invoice of all repairs needed before they would review necessary repairsThey received the invoice from the shop and took another week before they acknowledged they received the invoiceTheir next step was to send out an inspector, to look over the car to verify the shop claimAfter several days of me and the shop calling them, the finally sent out an inspectorAfter the inspector came out, it took several days for ASAP to admit they received the condition report from the inspectorAfter I called several more times to find out the decision on the repairs, ASAP told me they denied claims to fix the turbo, charcoal canister(exhaust part), and oil leakThey did agree to pay approximately $for wheel bearings(suspension parts)They told me that none of the other parts failedCurrently my turbo still isn't functioning and my car displays a notification that my drivetrain is malfunctioningAfter denying all but claim on my car I asked ASAP to cancel my warrantyI paid $out of pocket to fix the charcoal canister and accumulated approximately $in car rental chargesI received an email notifying me that they will be refunding me $of the $that I paid in fullDue to their lack of urgency and taking almost weeks to make a decision on whether they would fix my carI should be refunded my full amount due to the inconvenience they caused me along with the $car rental bill I paid [redacted]

COMPLAINT ID # [redacted] In response to this complaint, as you will see from documentation to be provided, the American Standard Auto Protection telecommunications systems were down due to technical difficulties from the telecom carrierASAP posted information on the website regarding this issue

Firstly it is important to point out the customer paid $1,for the contract, not $2,as the customer statedThe customer stated "They had no problem taking the $2,from me when purchasing this contractAs soon as something bad happens they fight to do anything to have you stuck with a car that needs work." Please note, within the first days of the customer's contract ASAP paid out $in claims for this customer's vehicleThe customer continued to reference under the Exclusions section his contract where it states "If the odometer is altered, disconnected, or inoperable so that the miles traveled cannot be accurately determined." This section of the contract refers to reasons why individual claims may be deniedWe are acting in accordance with the cancellation terms of the contract which reserve the right for ASAP to administratively cancel a contract:"CWE may cancel this CONTRACT at any time if: (ii) YOU made a material misrepresentation or substantially breached YOUR duties under this CONTRACT relating to the VEHICLE or its use; (vi) WE cannot determine the true mileage of the VEHICLE due to replacement, alternation, disconnection or failure of the Odometer" The customer states that the mileage should have been recorded as one amount, yet it was recorded incorrectly due to human errorThere is no way to truly confirm this statementThe customer supplied a legal document from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation which records the mileage at the time the vehicle was purchased and also states it is the "ACTUAL MILEAGE." There is also a case of the customer misrepresenting the vehicle to ASAPThe customer states in his previous correspondence with the Revdex.com that the document should read 101,miles- that document is dated March 29,On April 3, the customer signed the contract with ASAP confirming the vehicle had 99,miles The only mistake made by ASAP is the customer is due a refund of $based on the pro-rata method for calculating the refund Based on the legal document provided (see attached) and the customer's misrepresentation of the vehicle to ASAP, we have acted in accordance with the contract terms and conditions signed and agreed to by the customer

I purchased an extended warranty from American Standard Auto Protection After sleeping on my decision for several days I decided that I did not need the warranty after all When I called to cancel the policy, they canceled it without any hassle I was treated with respect If I ever decide to purchase an auto extended warranty I will call this companyIn my book they deserve an A-plus rating

I just spoke to a gentleman trying to get me to purchase a warranty plan and while I was about to give him my information to sthe account I decided to look them up on Revdex.com and immediately got mad and became rudeWhen I started to question him about the contract I was interested in purchasing he got upset and told me I was wasting his timeThat's Great customer service, I hope the call was monitoredI would not recommend this rude company to anyone, I'm glad I didn't waste my money

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowSo they are denying due to the a developing problemAll vehicle have developing problem once they roll off the lotThere is no vehicle in history that a it will stay perfectThe point of having warranty is to cover these break down if they do occurThe warranty company accepted the contract fully knowing that the car has high mileage with wears and tearsHow would you know what is considered not pre-existing because very part of that car is over 100k milesThey can use this to deny any future and all repairsThis is what a scam sounds like.
Regards,

Paid$, filled out paperwork to cancel policy, will not refundWould not pay mechanic after saying we were approved and had work done, so we paid out of pocketWill not return phone calls, emails, rude, and told me they were going to fight me and hold up the refund if I even tried to file a dispute with credit cardTook money instantly, will not lay back
Please stay away, nightmare company

They will tells you it covers everything when you call, you can take it to the dealer to fix the car, only new original parts will be used ectI paid for the best coverage they have only to find out the sales guy liedMy steering rack whent out and they would only pay for a used one, the motor mounts went bad they wouldn't cover it because it fell under "exclusions not limited to" which pretty much means they dont cover anythingThis extended warranty is a ripoff, pay a little more and go with another companyThey have a whole page of exclusions and if it doesn't fall under whats on the list they still will not cover anything, if by chance it happens to be something covered they will just pay for used parts not even new!
Stay away from these con artistsOn top of all of this they dont even answer the phone and whenever they do, they will give you attitude, and will not care what you have to sayI would give them a 0/if possible

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionASAP will always do what is necessary to assist every customer.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
