Control a Door Manufacturing

On 5-11-12 the service rep said my operator was repaired and he took my old keypad claiming he would try to find one to work with my operator. $125.00

On 5-11-12 a service rep said he could not replace my old keypad which was not working but he would take it with him and call me before the end of the day with the results of his search for one that would be compatible with my operator. He never called. He also said he needed to raise up my operator so the chain would not drag against the door. He cut out part of the mounting area and raised up the operator. He also tightened the chain and claimed the operator was properly repaired. He charged me $125.00. Since I had not heard from him, I called the Company on 5-14-12 and spoke to a person who I believe is the owner/manager. He called the man on a remote type of phone and I heard the entire conversation. The service rep did not admit he was supposed to call me back with the results of his seach for a compatible keypad. I was told by the owner/manager that someone would get back to me. On 5-14-12 I received a call from the service rep who told me that there was nothing he could do to replace my old keypad because there was nothing compatible with my operator and I would have to get a new operator that was compatible with the current keypads on the market. I did not feel that he was being truthful with me so I called another company. I explained by problem (I have a LiftMaster operator)and was told a service rep would be able to fix my problem with a new keypad. That work was performed on 5-14-12. In addition, there was a broken part in my operator which needed to be replaced but that was not found by the service rep from C. E. Price Door Company. That part was replaced and I had to pay an additional $170.00 for this service work. However, I was happy to have a new keypad and a good working operator. On 5-14-12 I called C. E. Price Door Company and spoke to a person who I believe to be the same owner/manager I had spoken to earlier. He asked me if the service rep had called me back and I told him that he had called but that he had lied to me. The owner/manager said that if I thought the service rep was a liar that I didn't need to do business with them any longer and call someone else to do business with. He then hung up on me. I called back and asked him not to hang up on me again. He swore at me, called me a son of a ----- and hung up on me again. I wanted to ask him for my $125.00 back, but never got the chance since he had hung up on me twice but not before calling me a very bad name. I am a ([redacted]) year old widow who is not used to being treated in this manner. I want my money back for the poor service I received.
