Cort-AFR Furniture Rental

Review: I had to rent furniture from this company through my insurance because of a house fire. I paid the security deposit and when it was time for them to come pick up the furniture there was a slight rip in the couch cushion because there furniture is made soo cheap. Just by sitting on the couch it ripped. Anyway, I figured I would have to pay for it but there decided to tell me they were keeping the whole entire security deposit of $800 to repair the cushions which is a complete and total rip off. There is no way it cost that much to fix there cheap couches. So after arguing and fighting with them they told me they were going to send me $300 back. I have tried contacting them numerous times. They will not call me back and when I finally get a hold of them they told me several times they put checks in the mail. Im not rocket scientist but I don’t think it takes a month to receive a check. I have continued to try and call them but they have the worst customer service department and they are so nasty they wont return my calls. I want what is owed to me and I want my money back. I want the full amount back but with the type of people they are and how they rip people off from crappy furniture I will take half of it back. I want the check mailed out to me ASAP and a phone call that it was mailed and tracking information because these people can not be trusted. I will never again go to them and will make sure no one I know goes to them for anything.Desired Settlement: I want my refund on my security deposit and want to know why I was lied to and them telling me they mailed it when they never did because they are trying to pocket my money.
