Cosmetic Dental Laboratory

I live in Chicago but spend a great deal of time in Como, Mississippi. When my dentures came loose from my mouth and some porcelain came off, I was referred, by a friend, to [redacted], a dental lab technician at Cosmetics Dental Lab in Memphis. He consulted with me, gave me a price of $350, and I left my teeth with him. After one month he finally said they were ready. On March 20, 2013 I arrived in his office to have my teeth set. After waiting over 90 minutes, he said he could not find my teeth. He said he was so busy he had them in his hand and now he can't find them. He told me to give him a few days and he would call me. After a week with no phone call, I called him. He said he was 32 people behind and had not even looked for my teeth. He said to give him 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I called again and he was sooo unprofessional. He said I'm busy, I still have not even looked for your teeth and I'm not responsible for anything you leave in this office. I was devastated. I asked him if he would make me new teeth and give me back my smile. He just slammed down the phone. Needles to say, I never spoke to the man since. I am consulting with [redacted] in Memphis. They gave me a price of $1,500. I am on a fixed disability income and that's why I went to [redacted]. Because a mutual friend recommended me to him, I never got a receipt for my teeth. Is that why he did this? I never gave him any money either. I was to pay at time of service. Since then another friend went to him for partials and he made them in a few days. I don't understand why he acted like this. He was so friendly at first until he had my teeth in his possession. The bridge could not be worn at all, so I told her I would attempt to use part of the old bridge for support of a new partial that she would have to purchase. Because she lives out of town, she did not return for over six weeks. She then, showed up (unannounced) at a very busy time. I apologize if my response was abrupt, but the time span had been long ago that the bridge could not be located at that time.When I did find them, I tried to contact her, but didn't get a response and she never called or came back again. The damaged bridge that the consumer brought in was not a functional appliance. That is most likely the reason she was quoted the price of a new bridge from the other company. She was trying to salvage something to avoid buying a new one, and I was only trying to nice and help her out.In good faith, I am willing to give $300 toward her replacement, which is considerably more than the value of the broken pieces she brought in. He never called my Mississippi home phone nor my cell phone. He was purposely inconveniencing and humiliating me by holding on to my teeth.
