After many contacts with all Costa channels ([redacted]@uk.costa.it
[redacted]@us.costa.it) available and being ignored without ANY response I'll make this public complain.

Dear All,

I sadly have to inform that my last cruise with Costa was a nightmare, and I'll explain how this endless headache happened.

This is not our first cruise, but certainly is the last one with Costa. First of all I tried many times via email to receive the program of the cruise and check-in time, all that I receive was a bunch of links with none decent information.

I was informed via Costa phone that my check-in was 13:30, so I arrived in the port before to make sure that I'd make the most of my trip, and for my surprise I was informed for very rude employees that the check in was only 14:00. But in the moment that I was dispatching my luggages I was asked to go upstairs and to request my cabin number and carry on all my luggages. Upstairs I was informed that I should wait till 14:00 with my luggages. I was the only person with luggages in that place/hall so after some time I decided to ask why? the answers is that I should go downstairs and drop the bags. Unbelievable that I was carrying on my 3 bags all the time because Costa does not have decent employees to help us during out Holliday.

Our waiter was always in a hurry trying to change my plates, one day I was eating and I had to tell him to stop to pick my plates up. My friend that was there had an argument with a waiter in the breakfast, and the waiter had I really bad behaviour screaming in front of the other passengers....how disgusting was that situation.

Menu with price? during the dinner my "all inclusive" cruise had a menu with price, and a Lobster would cost me 15 euros, that's ridiculous, all inclusive with price in the menu? you guys should check the good companies in this market.

Grill: the grill only opened 2 times during the 7 days, why? certainly because is more expensive. But that is ridiculous, a grill that is always closed, c'mon....you guys must be in the wrong business.

Employee misbehaviour: you guys should try or pay or select better this workers, 70% of your employees do not look after the passengers, looks like they hate us, they just don't care. It's really said do not receive what you pay for, especially in a holiday. Do a benchmarking with Royal Caribbean or Celebrity you'll understand what I'm talking about. By the way you should evaluate your quality, all companies do it with forms in the end of the cruise. This company basic don't survey the customers...

Charge for gratuities in the end of the cruise. That was completely out of the blue, my wife and I were charged in more than 100 euros in gratuities. For what? for the worst service ever? I was never informed about this, that charge was against my will.

There are endless things that I could write here, but I think enough it's enough. Also after many times trying to complain I just got tired...

Check the complaint on board, I made a complaint there, but never received any response.
