Country Creations Florist Reviews (2)

I experienced rudeness and lack of professionalism from Country Creations employee over the phone. Also, unacceptable delivery service.I live in [redacted] AZ and purchased flower bouquets for my Mother, [redacted] Enchanted Garden Bouquet-Standard) and Sister, [redacted] (Pretty Please-Standard) online from Country Creations on 5/8/14 to be delivered on 5/9/2014. Order confirmation #XXXXX and total $82.18 paid with my [redacted] The complaint I have is about [redacted]'s order [redacted] Enchanted Garden Bouquet-Standard). On the Special Instructions Section of the order to be delivered to the [redacted] Post Office I wrote: [redacted] will be at this location until 12pm Friday. At 9:15am ([redacted] Time)/12:17pm [redacted] Time) I sent my Mother a text to see if she received her flowers because my sister, [redacted] had received hers. The answer was "No". She was leaving her office to attend a function. I called Country Creations. The person answering the phone said, "Hello". I asked if this was Country Creations, the lady said yes and proceeded to talk to someone else and the phone went dead like she hung up. I called back, the same person answered the phone and I proceeded to tell her that I had placed an order online; she then started talking over me to tell me that they had a bunch of orders and they were attempting to deliver them. I said I understand, I know your policy says you can't guarantee delivery times, but I really needed those flowers there by 12pm, like I put on the order form. She said, Well, can't your Mom just wait there 30 more minutes? I told her that I would check, but I think she was already gone and to please call her cell phone # I put on the order form if she's not there. The lady also asked if my Mom was working Saturday and I said NO. I called my Mom and she was on her way to a function, but said she could be back to the Post Office at 2:00pm. I called Country Creations back, the lady answered the phone with only a "Hello" and I proceeded to tell her who I was and that my Mother would be back at 2pm. She said OK and hung up abruptly. At 12:00pm ([redacted] Time)/3:00pm [redacted] time), I received a call from my Mother, [redacted]. She informed me that she got the flowers, but it was only because a customer asked her about the beautiful flowers on the table in the customer lobby. THE BOUQUET THAT I PAID FOR WAS LEFT IN THE UNLOCKED HOT CUSTOMER LOBBY OF THE [redacted] POST OFFICE WHERE ANYONE COULD HAVE TAKEN THEM!!!! Needless to say, I am livid! My mother said the flowers were wilted because they had been sitting in the hot lobby for an unknown amount time before someone told her they were out there. She nor the other clerk who works there enter the Post Office through the lobby, they use the back door. It is posted that the office is closed for lunch from 12pm-2pm. I had to enter my Mother's phone number on the order form as well as mine. She was never contacted and I was never contacted by Country Creations that no one was there to receive the flowers. I am grateful that no one took the $45.17 bouquet that I chose to order from Country Creations instead of using one of the other florists in [redacted] I am pleased with the delivery of my sister's bouquet, but very displeased with my Mother's bouquet delivery.Desired SettlementFirst, I would like an apology, because even though I paid less than $100 for two bouquets of flowers I was made to feel as if I had only spent $2. Also, the lack of customer service made me feel like I was a burden to the company, not a valued customer. The wilted flowers bouquet were replaced with one that were fresh and pretty because my sister took my Mother's bouquet back into Country Creations and showed the gentelman at the counter. I would like my delivery fee back. Yes, they were delivered and I know that the delivery time is not guaranteed, but someone could have called and not left the bouquet in a public area.Business Response First of all we always answer our telephone with County Creations not just Hello, But I will say that on Mother's day week-end I do remember answering it Hello one time just because I was wainting on a customer in house and both lines were ringing and I just quickly answered hello. But I know I did not do this three times as she said. I did not hang up on anyone, and I did have several people whos phone cut them out because they were on cell phones. When she called and said that her mother had not received her flowers I put her on hold while I checked to see where the order was. We saw that the order was done but not delivered yet I ask her if the person could stay at the location a little longer so we could get it to her. She called back and said that she would be there a little while long and we send someone there right then. Then my delivery person got to the post office there was noone there. She left it thinking the workers would be the first ones in after the post opened back up. On the order there was a phone number but it said it has a home number, but after looking at it, it probably was a cell number just noted as a home number.I am sorry she had a problem, but we did replace the order with a fresh one that day. We did all we could, we delivered it as soon as it was brought to our attention that it was not delivered, we do not look for times on days like Mothers' day we have too many orders to check time of delivery and it is possible we had to wait for flowers to do this order. and we replace it after finding out it was damaged. I as sorry about this, but we did over 200 orders for Mother's day and this order was the one and only complaint we had and I am truly sorry about this.but the time of delivery was the reason and we note on our orders that on special dates we can not guarantee delivery times. Thank you and I hope this experence will not keep you from using us again, the next time you need flowers, call us personally and remind us of this order and we will made it right for you. Thanks you. [redacted]
