OMG, [redacted] just came and saved the day.

I thought for sure my daughter had busted my roommates vertical blinds. I had talked with several other companies and they all had told me that I was more then likely going to replace the whole head rail. Not cheap considering this is on over sized window.

I then found out that Cover Your Glass was the original installers. I called and spoke with [redacted] he was pleasant over then phone and informed me of my options. He was able to come out right away. I was totally thinking it was going to be worse case scenario but he not only repaired the vein that broke but he was also able to repair the vein that wouldn't turn. No need to buy a new head rail YAY!!!! Thank you [redacted] for being super awesome. When I buy my house you will be the company to cover my glass!!

Wife was pressured into purchasing blinds that we did not want. We where told the blinds were at cost but after researching the price they are at nearly 100 dollar mark up. I called to attempt to cancel the order and they refused. During the call a yelling match ensued and I was hung up on. I called back and spoke with the business owners wife. She made no attempt to identify herself as a employee or at any way affiliated with the company. She attempted to explain to me that the signed paper by my wife was a contract and we could not get out of the purchase. I asked then for a itemized receipt for the blinds and she scoffed and said they do not do this. I asked who the manufacture of the blinds were and got soft quotes for the same product for approximately 161 dollars. With this information I then asked since we have already had a violent disagreement I do not want your husband near my house can I pick up the blinds and have the install fee refund as there will be no install? She said I could pick up the blinds but she can't refund the money because its actually part of the product cost but they list it as a install cost to avoid tax liability. This sounds highly illegal, and at this point I decided to file complaints instead of dealing with this company.

I have worked with [redacted] three times now... his service is great and the prices are very reasonable. He has done inside and outside work on my house and gave good advice to a guy from Chicago who knows nothing about sunscreens!

I had Cover Your Glass install over $8,000 worth of blinds in my house in 2003. I went with them because of a builder recommendation and their lifetime service guarantee.

I don’t have a problem with their product. I have a huge problem with their service.

We have called them several times over the years and each time [redacted] was extremely surly to the point of accusing us that it's our fault the blinds were damaged. They reluctantly sent out a person to 'fix' the issue. My wife primarily dealt with them on these fixes and although [redacted] was not the nicest person to deal with we dealt with them because of the warranty.

The above was just our experience but I would not have written this review except for what happened with our latest and last interaction with [redacted] at Cover Your Glass.

I scheduled Cover Your Glass to 'fix' the issues again as we are getting the house ready for sale. This time I was informed that they used an outside service for this type of repair so the ‘free’ lifetime service actually is not free. It cost me $50. The hidden cost of the free repair was a little annoying but not really an issue. The following is where [redacted] from Cover Your Glass really blew it.

The service was scheduled and completed on 12/8. I neglected to leave a $50 check at the house for the repairman to pick up as I was out of town. When I returned on 12/11 I had a very nasty voice mail message from [redacted] informing me that 'enough was enough' and I had better pay up or else he was going to call the sheriff and come back to my house and remove the repair work. He then further threatened to put a lien on the property. Truly one of the most outlandish messages I have ever received. This company is a joke, but the joke turned out to be on them

The funny part is I actually called [redacted], paid the $50 charge AND scheduled a sales call for Cover Your Glass to give me an estimate for shutters on my new house 2 hours before I listened to [redacted]'s threatening voice mail. Needless to say I immediately canceled the appointment and politely told [redacted] to lose my number. I will NEVER use Cover Your Glass and do not recommend them.

We have had [redacted] at cover your glass put up shades at our last house and now our new house and each time

He has done a fantastic job. The price, quality and the service has been top notch. I would recommend his company to my family and plan on using

friendly. The window treatments arrived on time, the installation went smoothly and the blinds are perfect. I would highly recommend Cover Your Glass.
