Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below Upon reading the response from Charles River Movers, I was taken aback by so many untrue statements, that their entire message can only be categorized as complete fantasyAlmost none of what was stated was accurate or validThey are only trying to avoid their responsibility to respond honestly or repair damage caused by themTheir refusal to even consider repairing this damage reveals a pattern of Charles River Movers to duck, at all costs, paying a single dime, and denial of careless handling of peoples' propertyCharles River Movers has made a mockery of the concept of professionalism, and their response to our complaint reflects that.The photo that Charles River Movers attached, one of dozens we provided, does show where veneer was torn off by tape as the china cabinet was unloaded, still wrapped in the blankets Charles River Movers usedAttached is a photo showing the severed/broken leg of the statue, one of dozens of instances showing careless, rough handling.My wife and I have accepted the loss to our property, as it is clear that Charles River Movers is not going to do the right thing and take care of this properly We categorically reject Charles River Movers' closefisted response and only hope that others will be alerted to Charles River Movers' way of doing business, before they too are caused the loss of their valuables Regards, [redacted] ***

Charles River Movers does the best we can to make each andevery customer a happy customerWe do make mistakes occasionally and try ourbest to correct those mistakes as quickly as possibleWe loaded [redacted] ***srental truck on September 30th so he could drive it to ArizonaItdoesn’t take six weeks to drive to Arizona and unload a foot rental truck.Charles River Movers and [redacted] have had multiple conversations sinceOctober 20th about a second shipment for ***He never mentioned anydamage until November 8thWhen asked when his truck arrived in Arizona he refused to answerWhenasked when he [redacted] noticed the damage he refused to answerThe phoneconversation with [redacted] on November 8th was very confrontationalHewas very nasty and demandingI did chuckle at the venom he was spewing.Everything I said to [redacted] he turned around and used as an insult or a slighttowards himI told him it was difficult on a move like his to prove whereexactly the damage occurredWe loaded it he drove itWho unloaded it? Wedon’t know how many times it has been moved since we put it on his truckHewouldn’t answer any questions he just wanted the insurance claim papersHisfurniture was not insured by our policiesOur insurance coverage is limited tothe time the belongings are in our careAfter refusing to answer severalquestions I told [redacted] our conversation was useless we were getting nowhereHeasked if I would hang up on him? I toldhim I’m not sure maybe, are you going to answer my questions? He said the only thing you need to know is Iwill get my money and he hung up.Since that conversation [redacted] has had multiple conversations with [redacted] ***He has asked for pictures of the damageMr [redacted] has sent forward pictures of a china hutchThe china hutch appears to be in good shapeHe has placed a large wood chip on the cabinet but there is no picture of where it is missing It is my opinion that Mr [redacted] is being deceptive and deceitfulHe tried to do his move as cheaply as possible and now he is trying to recoup money spent any way he canHe told us all his furniture was picked up at yard sales and he didn't care about itWe still took good care of his itemsWe wrapped his items in moving blankets even though he said not to waste the timeHe has also claimed that Charles River Movers damaged items delivered by another moving companyThe other items claimed were inventoried by Charles River Movers existing damage was noted at pick up and acknowledged by Mr***These items were transferred to another long distance carrierThey were inventoried again found to be in the same conditionThen when they were received by Mr [redacted] in Arizona he claimed they were damaged by Charles River MoversThe other long distance carrier showed Mr [redacted] where he had acknowledged that these items were damaged previous to Charles River Movers touching them Attached are multiple pictures of the china hutch in questionThere are slight imperfection that can be seen on the hutch, but the large chip appears to be from something elseCharles River Movers loaded his truckHe drove it and unloaded itWe can not be held responsible for belongings out of our control

River Movers, I was taken aback by so many untrue statements, that their entire message can only be categorized as complete fantasy. Almost none of what was stated was accurate or valid. They are only trying to avoid their responsibility to respond honestly or repair damage caused by them. Their refusal to even consider repairing this damage reveals a pattern of Charles River Movers to duck, at all costs, paying a single dime, and denial of careless handling of peoples' property. Then when they were received by Mr. [redacted] in Arizona he claimed they were damaged by Charles River Movers. The other long distance carrier showed Mr. [redacted] where he had acknowledged that these items were damaged previous to Charles River Movers touching them.  Attached are multiple pictures of the china hutch in question. There are slight imperfection that can be seen on the hutch, but the large chip appears to be from something else. Charles River Movers loaded his truck. He drove it and unloaded it. We can not be held responsible for belongings out of our control.
