We were contacted by *** *** for a service call to the business where she worksShe stated they needed to have someone look into the cause of their excessively high utility rates they incurred the past couple months and the extreme
temperature variations within the building itselfWe scheduled an appointment
At the scheduled appointment, *** *** examined the building and equipment he could access, discussed with *** *** findings in which he could find that may help with lowering the utility costHe also requested to get copies of past utility bills in order to get an accurate history on the buildings utilities and also requested a building layout to do a more thorough analysisShe stated she would work on gathering the information and get back with him
A couple weeks went by, we did a follow up call to see if the information that was requested was completedUpon that follow up call, *** stated that the company made a couple changes in the way they keep offices closed/opened and it seems to have helped with their situationShe stated they do not need anything else to be done
*** then stated he would send a billing for a service call and the 1-1/hours he had put into the 1st call*** stated that "why are billing us when you did not do any work?" With the automatic attitude that was given to Craig Air by *** ***, he then stated if you do not feel that we performed any work, then we will just charge a service call of $She got very irate and ranting on, so in an effort to end the encounter, *** stated in a louder voice that but NOT yelling that he will send an invoice and if they do not pay the invoice, then he can put a lien on the building
Most HVAC service company charge a service call just for arriving to a callWe do not feel that we were unfair in the charges as the company used some of the suggestions to make changes to keep their office spaces more comfortable
As of today, Craig-Air has not mailed the invoice to the company at which *** *** is employed
She is making a accusation on yelling and "tantrum"She is over dramatizing all of the actual encounterWe believe this is complaint is detrimental in making a claim
