I shopped for new homeowners and car insurance this year, I received a price and paid for the whole year I was assured it was the exact same coverage and policy as I had with[redacted], a month later I got another bill for $[redacted] from the home insurer ([redacted].)saying someone had made a mistake, I don't feel that I should have to pay for someones mistake, I feel it wasn't a mistake but the old (bait and switch). The underwriter and insurance carrier agreed that it was an error and issued the homeowners policy based on the original quote.
