Review: On 5/26/13 I purchased a [redacted] X5 from [redacted]. Within 3 months I had a problem with the insertion of my memory card. The card does not "click" in place. Once it is inserted, you are to press the memory card and it is to release and it does not. Anything over 30 days at [redacted], the item must be returned to the manufacturer. I have an extended warranty with this camera and after calling [redacted] Service Center they advised to return the camera to them. It has been in their possession since 8/19/13 at 11:21 am. As of this date I am still awaiting my camera to be repaired and returned to me. It is six weeks today and they are still claiming they still do not have the part. I have been calling every couple weeks and get the same response that the part is on back order. They have also advise that the parts department has moved and this is also causing delays. Since 9/24/13 I have been calling every couple days. On 9/25 I spoke to Ira who advised he would speak to his boss and see what can be done. On 9/26 spoke to [redacted] who confirmed my work order was escalated and that a note shows parts were being shipped that day. Called again today and spoke to [redacted]. After explaining to her that I need a reply today as I have a family function on Saturday and need the camera in my possession my Friday 10/4. She was going to speak to her boss ([redacted]) and have him call me back. After 2 hours I called again. Spoke to [redacted] who confirmed again that the part was still on back order. I them advised this was unacceptable and I needed my camera in my possession by Friday. I also suggested he send me out another camera and he claims there is not a camera like the model I purchased in the warehouse. I asked that he get another camera from another source and he said it didn't work that way. He advised me he would look into again to get the status of the part and see if he could expedite the part however advised me I would not have a camera by Friday. I need your assistance ASAP. Thank youDesired Settlement: I want my camera ASAP. If the part is not available I feel it is up to [redacted] to send me another camera. I realize this situation will not be satisfied by Friday, however I need your help with this company.The amount of the camera was $234.25. I paid $80 cash and put the balance on my Discover credit card.

I sent a camera lens for repair to this company. The lens was approx $1200 when purchased three years ago. It received casual use and was well maintained. CRIS estimate for the lens was $500 and listed many problems. I requested they fwd it to the manufacturer for a second opinion. I just spoke with the manufacturer and was informed the repairs are being done since it's under warranty. It's costing me nothing! To go from $500 to a $0 warranty repair suggests problems with this company. I will never trust them again. I would always feel like I was being taken advantage of. Beware.

I have had extremely good service as well as excellent turn arount time, with C.R.I.S. Very professional in their demeanor and very friendly. I find their attitude towards customer service very refreshing and have been telling all of my professional photographer friends, about this company. I will continue to bring all my photography equipment to them, and hope, that they stay in the Valley for a long, long time.
