Review: This complaint involves CrossFit Spokane and questions the integrity and unethical business practices of its owner. The following account involves numerous complaint types, including: (1) incorrect over-billing practices (2) verbal contractual manipulation (3) avoiding refund requests and (4) horrendous customer service when summoned to investigate and correct these blatant errors. After multiple, documented, attempts to have these issues handled internally, the owner has demonstrated his inability and unwillingness to adequately investigate the source of these problems; thereby, dismissing and downplaying the requests that corrections/refunds be made due to over-billing several hundred dollars over a 12 month period. While claiming to value customer service, the owner continuously points fingers at his outsourced billing company, [redacted]. It should be noted that a supervisor at [redacted] has investigated this complaint and has verbally admitted that the fault is completely on the side of both [redacted] and CrossFit Spokane; supporting the validity and truth of this complaint. However, even though [redacted] acknowledges fault, they also refuse to issue a refund and point the finger back at CrossFit Spokane's owner.Therefore, this Revdex.com claim has been submitted as a red flag to the public in hopes that (1) CrossFit Spokane will be encouraged to take ownership of their future mistakes, thereby standing behind the Revdex.com Code of Business Practices which they adopted when becoming a Revdex.com Accredited Business, and (2) formally publicize this complaint to create an awareness so other consumers are not taken financial advantage of by the untrustworthy practices of this business and its counterparts. Individuals considering joining this gym should be forewarned to look beyond the owner's easy-going and charismatic front, and fully reject any verbal commitment or instruction, given by either CrossFit Spokane or [redacted], which contradict the initial written contract.Desired Settlement: This request is for a total refund of: $320.87This includes $105.64 that I was over-charged for the months of April and May. When brought to the owner's attention, he corrected the future monthly membership fees, but failed to issue a refund for his initial error.This request also includes a $215.23 refund for the month of December 2013, as funds were incorrectly withdrawn from my account "after" following [redacted] "exact" verbal instructions to cancel my membership beginning Dec.

I would be happy to sit down to go through and show anyone at the Revdex.com, an attorney and [redacted] the contract and the conversions we have had over the last few weeks. This is a desperate attempt by him to hurt us simply because he couldn't follow the agreement on the contract he signed. When he mentioned his attorney would be involved and I didn't budge, in fact I welcomed it, he got upset. This is a completely bogus claim and I have all the documentation to show that we followed up on our end of the deal as outlined in the contract. We have been in business for 7yrs and have never had a complaint. In fact I personally make sure if we mess up, it is fixed and the client is happy. Our written agreement is black and white, no hidden agenda. Please call me ASAP, so we can set a time to go through all this.
