CS Custom Painting

Review: On 6/4/15 I contracted with Charles S[redacted] to paint the exterior of my property. A deposit of $850 was given to him. He did not paint the property within the time specified. I requested a refund via return receipt certified mail delivered and signed on 8/15/15. He has not made an attempt to return payment.I had to hire another painter to complete this job on 8/21/15 as this property was under contract to be sold and painting needed to be completed for appraisal. I felt I was more than lenient waiting 12 weeks due to weather during the month of June. However since the weather cleared up in July there was more than ample time for the painting to be done. I made several phone calls to Charles and was told he would be starting "next week". Then in August, I was unable to reach Charles via phone - either I needed to leave a voicemail or it rang busy.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit refunded, $850.00.Thank you.
