C S Roofing had a contract in place on 3/11/2014 to add a new layer of shingles on my roof and to replace the rubber (EPDM) lining on my flat roof. The contract specifically stated that the work carries a 20-year warranty on material and 10 year on labor. Less than 2 weeks after the work, it rained and snowed, and the flat roof started leaking slowly at 2 spots but enough to break through the sheet rock in the room. The contractor was informed and after a few missed appointments, showed up to do some patch work. Immediately after their quick fixes, the leak came back after each rain storm, and now the sheet rock is severely damaged and mold begins to grow around the damaged area. Many attempts were made to contact the contractor through phone, many promises were made and none was kept. Now, several weeks later, the contractor has not come back to fix the leak after many broken promises. All of the contacts were through phone, verbal and texting.Overall, they did an okay job with the roof. Left the job site with still plenty of nails and debris on my yard which I didn't exactly mind cleaning up afterward. But now with real damages happening to the interior of my house posing potential health risk, it's no longer just a cosmetic and structural thing. And I believe that the contractor is deliberately doing all it can to live up to its warranty commitment.
