Mr [redacted] clearly misunderstood what he read, attached is a picture of the posted sign, it states that there is a minimum charge of 30$, mr [redacted] was quoted to replace the a/c compressor, orifice tube, and a/c dryer, and labor, as all these items need replaced in order to receive a warranty on the a/c compressor, that added up to 1000$where he did not have d and d do that repair I do not feel like pricing is up for a cause of complaintFurthermore Mr [redacted] requested that his brakes and door locks be checked alsod and auto spent over an hour diagnosing the a/c problem and the door lock problem and checking the brakes overMr [redacted] was informed very clearly what the charges were forD and d auto doers not feel like grammar is up for debate d and d auto's hourly rate is 70$, d and d auto feels that Mr [redacted] was treated fairly and is not willing to refund any money

I am rejecting this response because: the appalling grammar for one, makes it near impossible to decipher what they are trying to express. However, what I can understand, I find many issues with the message from D&D Auto. First is the definition of Diagnostic (serving to identify or characterize; being a precise indication). When asked why I was being charged more, D&D Auto's response was that they did more stuff but would not specify what they did to my car. I did not ask for extra work on my car, I only asked for a diagnostic, a.k.a identifying the problem. I searched various auto stores for estimates on an A/C part recommended by D&D Auto. D&D Auto said it would cost $1000 for new and $600 used from a junk yard. Average price at auto stores were right around $300 new, which shows I was being over priced on a replace A/C part. D&D Auto stated in their message that they did have a sign that said $30 for diagnostics in their shop. I just want them to be honest and honor that price. I know $40 is not a big deal but integrity is very important to me. If D&D Auto is willing to charge me extra for small issue, they will do it again in the future to other customers for possible more money. Thank you for your time.

mr  [redacted] must have not read my sign as it clearly says   minimum charge on all work or diagnosis preformed  30.00 we did more then diag. his a/c I also gave him an est.for the a/c repair using used parts that would save him about 400.00  I also informed him that if he wants us to...
