Review: I have used D&L disposal services at both my home location ([redacted]) & my rental location ([redacted]) for a number of years. I can supply the invoice & proof of payment for my [redacted] location for the period of 12/1/12 to 12/1/13 if needed. In early Arpil I had a tendant change in that property & the new tenant did not require disposal service.
On 4/8/13 @ 10:00 am, I contact D&L disposal. The office manager listened to my request & verbally agreed to a refund of $201.66 for the unused balance of the service. I was advised in that call that the check would be mailed within a few days.
By 5/15/13 I still did not recieve the check, or any other form of communication from D&L, so I again called (@ 11:30 am that day). There was no answer, so, on the message system I requested repayment or response plus I referenced my name, account #, our prior phone conversation & their committment of 4/8.
By 5/25/13 I still had not recieved any refund or communication from any D&L representative so I sent them a certified letter (which can be supplied with proof of reciept). In that letter I informed D&L that if I did not recieve some response by 6/8/13, that I would be contacting the Revdex.com. To date, I have not recieved any payment or contact from D&L, except for a new invoice for my home property.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund for 8 months of unused service. Since I did not make the cancellation call until 4/8 & despite the fact that trash pick up haulted on 4/8, the office manager & I agreed that I wuold be responsible for paying for the full month of April.
The annual invoice was $302.50 divided by 12 months = $25.20 per month
$25.20 X the 8 months of no service = a refund of $201.66

LET ME START BY SAYING THAT I AM NOT THE OFFICE MANAGER -- I AM ONE OF THE OWNERS. HOWEVER, I AM VERY ILL.
CUSTOMER DID CALL 4-8-13 TO CANCEL HER SERVICE. SHE WAS NOT TOLD SHE HAD TO PAY THE WHOLE MONTH OF APRIL AND SHE DID NOT PAY FOR IT.
