I am a volunteer at Dachshund Rescue N.W the policy there has always been you turn in a dog you don't get it back just like if you took it to a shelter[redacted] does great work with the dogs that come into rescue,some are abused and scared and she has them acting like well loved dogs within weeks if not days of them arriving.all dogs are healthy spayed or neutered before they are adopted out.If things don't work out with an adoption you can bring your dog back and get another[redacted] works with people even after they have taken there dogs home if there are issues.This is a very fine place for the discarded dachshunds in this area.

This rescue organization is one of the best that I have encountered. Their services have always been reputable and satisfactory. I certainly would recommend them to anyone in need of placing a dog for rescue or who would be looking to adopt a dog. I have referred a few people to date already.

This rescue took in two adult dachshunds for my friends elderly mother in law and found wonderful new families for them. It was such a positive experience. I would recommend again.

DRNW is an amazing dog rescue. Her primary focus is the animals and their well being. I have visited there property as well as adopted from them. Our little Jelly needed a new home without little ones around. Thankfully Dachshund Rescue NW was recommended by several friends. [redacted] responded to my email with detailed questions and concerns regarding our decision for Jelly. She wanted to make sure this was in the best interest for Jelly and ultimately for us. Finally there was an opening and we went on a visit and found the atmosphere better than we could have imagined. Every little sweetie is treated as an individual and give the opportunity to find his or her own human family when he or she is ready. We never could have given Jelly so many new options for a more fulfilled life. Now she resides in a child free atmosphere with a loving adult family and two full grown basset hounds. Review: I had contacted [redacted] after she was on Lc valley pets begging for Weiner dog to rescue. We had talked back and forth via fb messages. I had explained my situation that I had these dog for almost all their lives and this was heart tracking I just have three children and I feel sorry for my dogs because they we're not getting a lot of attention like they use to and she also said to me that she would not separate them if they we're glue at the hip witch the are. I had met one of her helpers in pullman wa. I gave her my three dachshund dogs all my children we're crying we we're all very sad.when we got home my husband was there also very sad and told me he thinks we made a huge mastake and so I messaged her telling her that and asking how my dogs we're and if she had even got them with no reply so I messaged her a few more times mined you this is the same day we gave them to her called the phone number on the card and to find out that's only a message phone. So finally the next morning she told me that the oldest dog was not doing to well witch I knew that would happen we had him for eight years any ways then she told me no I could not have them back its forever she never stated that the hole time we we're talking and told her she had never told me that I would have never done it in the first place and then she blocked me from Facebook. So then I went to her rescue fb page and messaged her from there begging for my dogs back telling her that we changed our minds we made a big mastake that we never ever signed any thing witch the card that her helper gave me I looked on that site that she had never told me about until after she had my dogs and it states on there that you sign that you never get your dogs back I never signed one thing any ways she blocked me from her other site. Then I see three or four days later she has my female up for sale all by her self she told me she would not seperate them and they stay there for awhile for observation and alsorts of thing they we're all up for saleDesired Settlement: All my dogs back this lady is a fraud and a complete lier

As a licensed dog rescue since 1991 we take in homeless wiener dogs, retrain and rehome them with having placed almost 1200 since we opened or about 120+ dogs each year now. We advertise to tell folks we are available if needed to place their dogs and advertise our homeless dogs needing a new homes well. We do not beg to take in dogs. We tell folks we offer this service to keep our beloved breed out of area shelters and help families who have to rehome their dogs. We have many satisfied customers who entrusted us with their dogs for years now as well as folks who adopt our guaranteed dogs.

Wonderful rescue the owner does everything in her power to provide for the dogs she rescues. Some people may get mad after giving her the dogs to find homes for and change their minds, but if she rescued them it was for reasons in the best interest of the dogs so they can get the care they need. This lady is a saint for dedicating her whole life and paychecks to rescuing these animals.

[redacted] at Dachshund Rescue NW is incredible. She found us a forever dog that fit our personalities and interacts well with our other dog. At the many events they sponsor, DRNW helps everyone have a great time with a wonderful breed. [redacted] is extremely knowledgeable about Dachshunds and goes out of her way to help those that ask questions about the rescues and the rescue process. I cannot say enough good things about the rescue and what they do!
