Review: In the month of December of 2012 I contacted Dage Construction Company located at [redacted], NY 11420 in reference of getting my mother's roof repaired from Hurricane Sandy. I met with [redacted] and my mom signed the contract. Due to the inclement weather the roof wasn't done until January 2013. A few months later the roof started leaking through the upstairs bathroom ceiling. I contacted [redacted] regarding the issue and he said he will send someone out to fix it. I made several phone calls and left messages on the voice-mails of [redacted] and his uncle [redacted] (who is the owner). I finally received a call from a man by the name of [redacted] and he said it was the chimney. I said to him how do you know its the chimney when you didn't come out to look at the roof. [redacted] came out to the house a few days later and said it was the chimney and applied tar around the chimney. The roof continued to leak and my Brother [redacted] called [redacted] and he said he will have someone contact him regarding the chimney. No one called as of Monday, November **, 2013. My brother [redacted] had a chimney repair company come to look at the chimney on Friday November **, 2013. They inspected the chimney and the remark that was left on the paperwork was [redacted] removed shingle to the wood + never replaced metal flashing. Pictures were taken of the roof and the chimney during this time; we noticed that the roofer used different color shingles on the roof towards the end of the job. Besides the hole in my mothers bathroom ceiling, and the different color shingles used on the roof, there are squirrels coming in the attic. [redacted] tried contacting [redacted] and left him a voice-mail after the inspection of the chimney. Someone called [redacted] back and said they will be out on Saturday November **, 2013 to look at the roof. As of this date no one has contacted me or my brother [redacted] regarding my mothers roof. My mother is ** years old and I feel she is being taken advantage of as of this point.Desired Settlement: I would like the flashing to be placed around the chimney and shingles on the roof to be all one color. The integrity of the roof is questionable because there are squirrels coming in the attack as well as the water leaking in the house when it rains, I would like that repaired as well as the hole in my mothers bathroom ceiling.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Dage Construction Corp. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I received a call from [redacted] on December **, 2013 regarding the problems of the roof. He said the problems will be fixed and he will have [redacted] call me. He also asked me to contact [redacted] and gave me his contact number. I said I will try to reach out to [redacted]. I also informed him that [redacted] was the one who told me that the leak was coming from the chimney without coming by the house to look at the roof. I received a call from [redacted] again on December **, 2013 asking me if I spoke to [redacted]. I told him no, he replied I thought you was going to reach out to him. I told him [redacted] should be contacting me and I will try once I get home from work. I called [redacted] that evening and left a voice-mail. On December **, 2013 I called [redacted] again and he said he got my message. I told him about the problems regarding the roof and I informed him I have pictures of the roof and there was no flashing around the chimney. He said the flashing was cut to low around the chimney that's why the water is leaking through the roof. Once again [redacted] is telling me the problems of the roof without coming out to the house and let it be known I had a chimney repair company come by the house to inspect the chimney and I was informed at that time the roofers removed the old flashing when they replaced the roof and didn't replaced it. [redacted] told me he will contact me next week. As of today December **, 2013 I have not heard from [redacted].

At this time, I have not been contacted by Dage Construction Corp. regarding complaint ID [redacted]. I was able to dispute the bill financed through the credit card company which was $4200.00. As far as the down payment of $5000.00 I didn't get that back.
