We are saddened to hear of a customers displeasure.  However, we do not accept exchanges on swimwear or intimates to protect the health and hygiene of our customers.  We maintain well documented and clear store policy signs...

positioned in front of each register at each location, for ease of viewing.  We have always maintained a consistent exchange policy accepting product interchangeably between any location in the chain, and invite our customer to visit the location again to reconsider her complaint.  We assure her our standards remain high and her shopping experience will be a positive one.

Review: I went to the store for a beautiful swimwear I saw, there is no fitting room. Before I purchased the idem I asked the cashier if it doesnt fit can I exchange, she said yes. I asked her are you sure she said yes . I got home and the idem wouldn't fit me. I went to the closest store they told me I had to bring it back where I got it. So I had to take tree busses for the [redacted] to tell me that she will loose me as a costumer but she can't exchange because it in the reciet and everywhere ine the store,when it wasbt written anywhere. The worst thing is I have to put 1 and 2 together to buy the suit I didn't even have the money at the moment.Desired Settlement: I them to either exchange the item or give me my money back.

Review: I purchased a bathing suit. Couldn't try it on on the store. I was not immediately aware of the return policy and it was not visible in store. I returned to the store to exchange the iten for a larger size. However, I was very annoyed that I was not given the courtesy to exchange the item. I asked speak with the [redacted] who was also the same person behind the counter, she rudely said "you're looking at her". I decided to ask for their office number to complaint abvoe her and was not given any help becase they gentleman who answered the phone stated "I just work here and can't help you". I do not understand why they would not give the customer the option to try on something or return for an exchange. I was not requesting my money back. Especially since there is no fitting room. I appreciate your assistance. I made them aware that I could have easily just took the item without notifying them and leave the store because of their lack of security but I was an honest person. My item is still in tact with the tags and protective lining. Please follow up.Desired Settlement: I just need a larger size of my item.

Review: I have been a customer of Danice for over 10 years, and the experience I had at the store on [redacted]. in Rosedale yesterday (1/*/14) was very unpleasant. I was given the impression that I was inconveniencing the employees just by being in the store. The cashier was rude and unfriendly. I was standing at the register, clearly ready to make a purchase, and the cashier was standing right there texting on her phone and ignoring me for about 30 seconds until I said "Hello" to get her attention. During the whole transaction I didn't get a 'hi, how are you', 'I'll be with you in a minute,' 'Have a nice day,' nothing. The icing on the cake was that there was a man standing behind the register with the cashier talking to her the whole time she was ringing up my items. It seemed like whatever they were looking at on the cashier's cell phone was much more important than servicing me as a customer. The cashier even made a mistake and gave me the credit card receipt that I signed instead of taking it for the store's records, because she wasn't paying attention. After the transaction was finished I asked the cashier if she was a manager and she said 'no' and pointed to the man behind the register with her. I asked him if he was a manger, he said yes, then I said "wow, that's surprising,' He asked me why, and I said "I'm surprised that you're a manager standing by witnessing such poor customer service.' They both just looked at me for a few seconds with no words and no apology. I said "have a good night" to both the manager and the cashier and walked out of the store.

As soon as I walked up to the counter and saw that the cashier's phone and side conversation were much more important than my business, I thought about dropping my items on the counter and leaving the store without making a purchase. The only reason I still bought the clothes is because I really needed them for work and Danice has great prices.

I don't ask for much, but I think basic customer service is essential in maintaining a good business. People working with customers should always treat the customers how they would like to be treated when they are out shopping. I now have no desire to shop in that store again. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT THIS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN COMMUNICATED TO THE MANAGEMENT OF DANICE STORES, INC. AS WELL AS THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS SPECIFIC STORE (ROSEDALE LOCATION).

Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology from the management of this store and it would be great if all of the employees were held accountable for giving customers an enjoyable shopping experience. Also, it would be nice to receive a store credit for the amount that I paid with Danice during this negative experience which was $49. Thank you.
