This is in response to the compliant as written. We had received a phone call by [redacted] for a water leak coming through her ceiling at the above address. [redacted] does not have service contract and understood that a charge for services would occur. The attached ticket number 67744 shows...

that the pvc drain had to be repaired and all she was charged for was the labor to do such. The repair at that time appeared to the mechanic to be working. The client signed the service ticket and we billed her account. The area that she signed the ticket clearly states that she authorized the repair and understood that this may be chargeable if no service contract was in force.  We had received a call the next day at which [redacted] had called very confrontational about the fact that the water was still dripping and demanded that a different mechanic come to her home to repair this immediately at which point I instructed her that all mechanics were assigned calls and are in area routes that I could send a different mechanic later that week. This was unacceptable  to her and after I assured her that the mechanic that was infact in her home was 32 years old and had over 10 years experience in the HVAC industry along with that I could get him there right away she was agreeable. After I hung up with [redacted] I had spoken with Rob , the mechanic that was on site the day prior, he said he had a conversation with [redacted] that the glue joints that were on her existing unit and drain pain had failed and the repair he did was a temporary as  he recommended upgrading the drains  as to further prevent additional leaks and issues. When Rob arrived he found that infact the water dripping was condensation due to the air handler condensation into the secondary pan that was old and leaking. He spent 2.25 hours doing what he could to salvage some drainage to make sure she had air-conditioning. And again had instructed she needed to upgrade and replace the drainage system. I will as a professional courtesy credit her account in the amount of the $ 179.24. Danisi did respond and did its best effort as well as warranty the work we did prior day.Thank You ,Chris G[redacted] VPCertified  NYS Energy Star HVAC Designer/ InstallerDanisi Energy Co Inc

Thank you for the information. I did review the response from the company and they state as a "professional courtesy" they will credit my account in the amount of $179.24, which I accept in order to resolve this matter.  However, I received another bill from them today and they added a "finance charge" of $2.69 and state that I now owe them $181.93.   Would you kindly advise me on what the next step would be.

I used Danisi to repair my central air unit for a few years. Had a leak in my refrigerant line and two years ago they told me the leak was too severe to be fixed and they could not repair it, nor would they locate it. They disconnected the electric and told me I needed a new unit. I went a year without the unit and this year asked another company to replace the system. They asked where the leak was, and I told them that I was told by this company it was too severe and it was not worth looking for the leak. Fortunately for me this new company said that was crazy and they sent their tech in to troubleshoot the problem. The problem was a bad sweat on a filter that this company installed. The leak that could not be found was on the filter right outside my compressor on the refrigerant line that that this company installed. Whole new system needed??? Several recharges and service calls on the system for a tech to tell me I need a whole new system and the problem was literally 12" away from the lazy techs that this company sent. Maybe it's my fault for trusting them too much, but what a horrible company. I was about to spend 4k on a problem that was nothing more than a 50.00 dollar filter and refrigerant recharge. This place is a joke - but shame on me for not forcing the incompetent tech's to pinpoint the leak in the first place. Too much, when the new tech charged the system with nitrogen to find the leak we could hear it right from the bad joint on the filter. I thought a lot of this company over the years, but all along they were doing wrong by me.

This company is just terrific. I've had them for a number of years.

I've had many emergency heat problems and I can call them in the

middle of the night and they will have someone there first thing in the morning.

They are courteous, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable.

From the girls in the office to [redacted] in service, I can always count on them.

Recently I had occasion to contact the [redacted], and he promptly made

an appointment with us and came explained and answered our questions.
