Review: On 9/22/12, I [redacted] entered into a contract with DarTech, CT License No. XXXXXX. They were contracted to reside my home and to renovate the inside of my home. They completed part of the outside... There is painting left to do which they never completed, and while siding the inside of my home they broke my outside air conditioning unit. They never disclosed they broke it, I discovered this on my own. Regarding the inside of my home, they destroyed my house. I have had 2 contractors look @ the work and they said some of the work would not even pass code. I have a copy of the contract and they did not complete the inside work and made changes to the contract without consulting me. They ruined both upstairs bathrooms, there is a leak and all I smell is mold and they put different vanities and flooring in that was spelled out in the contract. They installed new raised panel doors and never painted them. They put a single vanity in the downstairs bathroom...a double vanity was requested in the contract. Prior to painting...they never filled in holes in the walls from fixtures. They made me purchase the new lighting for the bathrooms...They should have according to the contract. They never painted the ceilings on the first floor,hall way or master bedroom in contract. They never completed the installation. Of new 4" baseboard moldings in entire house and where they did it is falling off. They never installed new supports to my granite countertop...again all of this os in the contract. They reused the old wood for room separators vs the marble in the contract. In my front entry they installed pergo ... I requested as stated in the contract for tile....the same tile used in my kitchen. The stairway they I stalled is not up to code...and is falling apart. They were supposed to replace 6 closet doors and only replaced 5 and one they were installed wrong. They also installed the second floor bathroom sliding doors backwards as confirmed by other contractors.ETC........

Desired Settlement: I am requesting $20,000 in damages to replace my air conditioner that they broke, to finish the work they never completed and the fix the improvements according to the contract. The materials they used were not what was agreed on and the workmanship again isn't even up to code. I have to have all of the work they did...redone properly.

we went to see Ms [redacted]

at her home.Not only that was nothing wrong with ac unit( except for ceiling vent beeing closed)

we could not find out from her what is actually wrong with the work.So she said its liitle things.

Which it did not sound like the coplaint she wrote.

she ask me if I can come back couple days later so she can have her friend present so he can explaint better what needs to be done,and later cannceled that appoitment, ive been trying to contact ms [redacted] but without luck,

all the work was done according to contract and more.
