Foremost, I want to express my regret that your vehicle was...

stolen while at my Service Department.
After review of the Revdex.com case that you filed, I would like to add the following:
On 10/29/2015, my used car director Mr. Boone A[redacted] offered to purchase your 2007 Saab. The purchase price that was offered was the amount Kelley Blue Book listed as the value of your vehicle. The value was not reduced by the damage that the vehicle had sustained. The $1,900 repair bill was subtracted from the purchase price that was offered.
According to the timeline of the events that you included, the estimated cost of repairs that you agreed to on 10/14/2015 was $2,700 total out the door. The actual cost of the repairs when completed was $2,594.93. The profit was removed to reduce the service bill from $2,594.93 to $1,900 given what happened to your vehicle.
In the Revdex.com case, you've stated that the "alleged service was never delivered or confirmed complete and acceptable by the customer." I assure you that there was nothing alleged about the service work performed. The fact that a technician's labor time was spent and parts were installed to repair your vehicle isn't waived because of what happened to your vehicle.
You've stated that you are not responsible for paying the service bill because of "failure to provide adequate protection of the vehicle". The vehicle was stolen by ramming the 15-foot fenced gate of the Service lot. The chain on the gate never broke but the fence was finally torn from its poles. No vehicles have previously been stolen among the thousands of vehicles annually held in this Service lot.
