Buyer beware this business is not reputable. Turn and run. I contracted the company to install a chimney cap which they did after several delays. Once installed it was discovered that a second flue in the chimney had a downdraft and the smoke from the 1st floor fireplace was down drafting into the basement creating visible smoke in the basement. The company made an attempt to put a divider in the cap which helped the problem but did not eliminate smoke from down drafting into the basement. I then requested the cap to be removed and to provide me with a refund of the difference after offering a re-stocking fee for their effort. Their response is that they will remove the cap but I own it. The cap is still not removed and now the father Dave says he no longer owns the business, doesn't speak with his son Matt P[redacted] who supposedly is the new owner, is not familiar with this situation and wants nothing to do with it. I am out $300.00 and still cannot use my fireplace until I hire another company to remove the cap. As of 02/11/2015 the son Matt P[redacted] was in California. I should have known something was amiss when Matt P[redacted] asked to have a check available at installation and made out to Matt P[redacted] and not the business. The check was cashed the same day.
