The fob wasn't working on the front driver's side door of my vehicle It took it to the above business and was quoted a price Well into the second week they finally called to tell me the vehicle had been repaired When I arrived I was told the car's (relatively new) battery was somehow allowed to go dead on more than one occasion and this caused power to the radio to be cut off I was told the mechanic took the code from the operating manual (which lay open on the driver's seat), but that he was unable to get it to work The radio worked fine when I took it in, but now was finally delivered to me with an unworkable radio I was advised to take it to the Acura dealer for repair I was required to pay full (actually an increased price) by credit card before the vehicle would be released to me The Acura service rep attempted to enter the code which did not work because it had been attempted too many times resulting in a theft precaution to deny access The vehicle there
Following statement is to the best of my knowledgeBeginning on 31stOf July ,spoke with an employee of Davies named *** who I informed that I had a problem with my car and he said sure we could fix it but first a charge of $for a diagnosis charge would have to be performed I agreed and had vehicle towed to his shop the next day Never received a phone call until the 10thOf August from *** and an e mail telling me that a lien has been put on my vehicle , that they were charging me @first $a day for storage,and the following Monday 13th*** reduced the quote to $a day ,that "he wasn't going to do the diagnosis let alone work on vehicle due to the fact that my car was causing him to lose business and that he would only accept cash so I might as well kiss my car good bye because since I didn't come down and pay the cash to him I would never be able to get my car backMade several attempts to pay with a check ,or debit card he said no cash only Never recei
