Doug G[redacted]I went to put in a bid on a job for a woman on replacing chimney block, facial board, and soffit on her home. The total bid that I quoted her was $2,300 and told her I would need $1,100 of it to get materials and such to come do the job and the rest upon completion of the job. She was fine...

with this and had me come the next morning to pick up a check for the $1,100.00. I told her when I received the check that it would take 7-10 business days for the chimney block to come in because I had to order it. I told her that I would come and do the facial board and soffit while waiting on the chimney block to come in so the job would be half done she was fine with this. There was no need to wait until the chimney came down to take the old facial board off and soffit because the chimney was already away from the house. I tore the old facial board off and soffit placing it not in her yard as she states but on a tarp so I could load it onto my trailer. After completing this step she asks for me to contact her a couple of days later and she says "I changed my mind I do not want you to do this anymore." I asked her if there was something wrong and she said "No nothing is wrong it's just getting too cold." I do not feel I owe her $800 because I did half of the work I stated I was going to do. I do not feel I did poor work and I did not just throw nails and such in her yard.

Doug G[redacted] is not telling the truth. He did not do half of the work. He only worked about 2 hours on Fri. Oct 27th on the face board.December 29th he come and got the cement, boards and plastic bucket. This ended the contract.I want 800.00 of the 1100.00 he has of my money, so I can hire a legitimate contractor who is honest to do the jobWhat Doug G[redacted] Was suppose to do- He listed on (so called) contractWhat Doug g[redacted] done-2 hours October 27th 1.
