I PURCHASED A VEHICLE ON 10/4/2013 I PUT $2500 DOWN PAYMENT AND I PAID MY FIRST CAR NOTE OF $330.00 ON 11/5/2013 ON 11/7/2013 MY FIANCE WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND WAS PULLED OVER BY THE MEMPHIS POLICE DEPARTMENT ON A RUTINE TRAFIC STOP BECAUSE HE SAID DRIVE OUT TAG LOOKED FAKE (WHICH CAME FROM DEALERSHIP) UPON ISSUING TICKET OFFICER CHECKED VIN# ON CAR OFFICER THEN FOUND THAT THERE WERE MULTIPLE VIN#'S ON THE VEHICLE AND THAT OUR 2006 CADILLACE CTS COULD POSSIBLY BE A STOLEN VEHICLE OR A VEHICLE FROM A CHOP SHOP. OFFICER WAS ABOUT TO ARREST TO FIANCE FOR AUTOMOTIVE THEFT BEING THAT HE COULD SHOW PROPER PAPER WORK AND BILL OF SALE FROM CAR LOT THEY LET HIM GO WITHOUT CHARGES BUT THEY DID SEIZE MY VEHICLE AND IT IS STILL IN THE IMPOUND LOT FOR INVESTIGATION DETECTIVES WANT TITLE FOR VIN NUMBER ON FRAME OF VEHICLE BUT THEY CANNOT SEEM TO "FIND" THE TITLE! LOL!! THEY WOULDNT PUT ME IN ANOTHER VEHICLE OR COMPINSATE ME! WHEN I TOLD THEM I WAS HIRING A LAWYER THEY ATTEMPTED TO GIVE ME A CHECK FOR $1000.00 FOR COMPENSATION I ASKED THEM ABOUT THE REST OF MY MONEY AND THEY SAID THAT I CANNOT GET IT BECAUSE I USED THE VEHICLE FOR 30 DAYS!!!! A STOLEN VEHICLE WITH MULTIPLE VIN # I HAVE EVERY CONVERSATION RECORDEDProduct_Or_Service: 2006 CADILLAC CTS Account_Number: DETECTIVES HAVE DUEDesired SettlementI WANT EVERYONE TO BE AWARE OF THE FRAUD THIS COMPANY IS DOING AND HOW THEY CONDUCT BUISNESS!Business Response [redacted] put down $1500 on the Cadillac CTS not the $2500. I am rather unsure why a lie this early in the complaint would make your case stronger but regardless it was a lie. She did pay her first car note which we appreciate. Her fiance was pulled over because he alledgely is a drug dealer or [redacted] as he told us. He also happened to hit a fence which just might have spurred the neighbors to call the police. The Vehicle was purchased through the [redacted] and we had a title that was conveyed to us by the auction. The individual that sold the car through the auction fraudulently titled the car in Arkansas. We were unaware of this. The police took the vehicle in, we have recieved our compensation from the Auto Auction for thier error. We buy our vehicles through auction so that we have a guarantee of a clean title. When this does not take place we receive our money back.[redacted] accepted the $1000 dollars we offered her which was a refund of the down payment minus the damages they caused by backing into the fence. She signed a release a form about the incident and we assumed we had had all put it behind us.
