In today’s mail, we received a copy of your letter dated July 19, indicatingthat Mr*** *** had filed a complaint with your office against our company.The facts are not entirely accurateI have been corresponding with Mr***via email all of this week (he says that we are doing nothing
to resolve it) and Ihave printed these email’s for youThe problem is that Mr*** cannot provideus with a receipt showing when the computer/tablet was purchased and howmuch it costHe is expecting us to pay him for whatever amount he says it isworth and unfortunately, in order to present this to our insurance company weneed to have a copy of the proof of purchaseFrom what we understand, thecomputer or tablet is two years old, but we don’t even know for certain and wedon’t even know what the make or model is on the unitHe hasn’t offered anyother information.Also, you will see in one of my email’s that we offered to have him take the unitto a repair technician and see if it can be fixedHe hasn’t done that or evenresponded to me when I offered, It’s very possible, that it can be repairedwithout being completely replaced - but we don’t know that.We are welcoming your involvement to help us resolve this matterPlease let usknow what other information you need or what the next step might be.Sincerely,Janet D***

Review: Mr. D[redacted] had some employees come over the house to fix our air condition. While they were fixing the air condition one of his employees knocked over our lap top computer and broke it. He did nothing to make up for the loss. Total cost to replace the computer would be $600.Desired Settlement: I would like $600 to replace the broken computer.
