my response is attached above. (due to the 2000 character limit)I have attached a copy of his website, which never mentions "box auctions." I have also attached some outdated testimonials from his website page.   September 23, 2016 The business response is simply unacceptable. He did not disclose that all items would be thrown in a box an auctioned. My complaint stands. You have a website, I felt you were trustworthy and that is obviously not the case. Then I noticed Mr. D[redacted]'s testimonials are outdated and mainly for his auctions, not the service he provides. I am livid about the service he provided. I could have had a yard sale myself and made four or five times the amount. You should have stated you were going to throw things in a box, which you did not. My complaint stands. This business misconception doesn't deserve the A+ rating it has. He offers no resolution. His (Mr. D[redacted]) response, doesn't explain the reasoning of 140 items missing from my inventory list. Which make me feel like we were ripped off. FINALLY, HE DOES NOT ADVERTISE HE WOULD EVER "box lot" most of the items. NOT ONCE DID HE MENTION THAT. Check out his website, with testimonials that are very outdated not once does her offer to box lot items. I am hoping Revdex.com sees the wrong doing done here. I also hope Revdex.com reduces his rating and also informs the business of new testimonials and of the business only, not for his auctions. I am extremely disappointed in his actions and his response. I have the statement available to Revdex.com if needed. He offers NO resolution in what I am seeking making him look like an even bigger scam artist.

Please be advised that this customer did not choose our auction service because of our website.  She chose our services because a friend recommended us to her.  We have been in business since 1971 and have thousands of satisfied customers.  We did not stay in business by "ripping people off".She consigned a bunch of collectibles, which cannot be handled one at a time, as in a yard sale.  An auction is a wholesale form of sale where many items are grouped and sold quickly.  Many items are sold to buyers who resell them at a yard sale or on line.  We do not have time to sell collectibles one at a time.  I did explain to this customer that most of her items would be sold in flat boxed lots.It is clear that this customer was not happy with the proceeds of the sale.  During the summer in this area, there are not many yard sales and the swap meets do very little business.  As a result, the number of buyers for this type of merchandise become few, and the prices suffer.  We cannot change this market as we only sell to it.  We cannot make buyers pay more for an item at an auction.  She failed to explain to us that she wanted top dollar for her collectibles, instead she implied that she just wanted to get rid of them.  If she had indicated that she wanted top dollar, we would have refused the consignment.  We normally do not take this type of consignment and should have not taken this one.  Sadly, we thought that we were helping this customer out.95% of our business comes from recommendations from former customers.  Customer satisfaction is very important to us, but I am at loss to how to make this customer satisfied.  She has accused us of being thieves and "rip off artists".  No matter what we do, these accusations will stand.Sincerely,  David A D[redacted], D[redacted]'s Auction Service

I apologize for the late response, as my work load has been overwhelming,
All of [redacted] consigned items were sold at this auction. The consignment consisted of many collectibles, which in today's market are not of much value, that apparently [redacted] thought I...

should sell one at a time, even though she was told that I would "box lot" most of the items.  Attached, please find copies of the consigner statement and note items [redacted].  This is the boxed lot portion of the sale, and are sold before the catalogued items.  These are flat boxed lots that contain anywhere from 12 to 20 items each.  We offer choice of boxed lots until the price is under five dollars.  We then give the top bidder & back bidder choice at that price (in this case-$4.00), and then open it up to anyone.  After that, we sell t he remaining boxes for one price, which could be as many three or four boxes.
Also, please not 136A "remaining Native American" decorations.  I do not remember how many were left in this group , but they were also sold as "one".
I hope this clears up the "missing items" misconception.
Sincerely,
David A D[redacted]
