MrsN [redacted] did in fact hire our company on 10/20/to assist with getting her out of default and into an affordable payment plan as she statedMrsN [redacted] *s claiming that she was not aware that she could negotiate with the collection agency, [redacted] Professionals, which is a complete fabrication MrsN [redacted] received a document dated 09/27/from [redacted] , advising her to contact themShe did not hire us until 10/20/which gave her business days to speak with them on her ownWe initially spoke with Peggy from [redacted] in regards to MrsNieto's accountWe sent a Financial Disclosure for MrsN [redacted] to sign and provided this along with MrsN [redacted] pay stubs and auto loan to [redacted] After negotiations, the payment amount was approved at $The only instance in which MrsN [redacted] was ever required to speak with Peggy at [redacted] , was to provide a payment method for the $paymentWe explained over the phone when MrsN [redacted] was first set up in the rehab program that it would take time for the offset to be releasedMrsN [redacted] never contacted us or the treasury department to confirm if the tax offset had been releasedMrsN [redacted] also signed a contract with our company advising that we are not responsible for any taxes being offset due to filing before the offset has been releasedMrsN [redacted] also signed a contract with [redacted] which stated that she would only be paid a full refund on any taxes that may have been offset as long as they were offset after the completion of the rehab programThe rehab program did not end until 7/1/and MrsN [redacted] filed her taxes prior to that dateWe did in fact try to argue with the department of education in regards to the ambiguity of the statement regarding if and when a tax offset would be refundedHowever, this was performed as a courtesy, not an obligationWe performed the services that we were hired to do and MrsN [redacted] *s not due a refundMrsN [redacted] *s simply angry because she filed before the rehab was complete
