Dignity Star Tire Reviews (%countItem)

On April 1st, 2020, I took my 2018 Ford F150 to your garage, Dignity Star Tire, for an oil change. Riding from Porsche HQ to I-285 around Moreland Ave, on Apr 3rd, 2 days after the oil change, the oil light came on, the truck started to lose power, and I had to pull off to the side of the road. When the truck was started again, the engine had a horrible grinding noise, then a bad knock. I had the car towed back to your shop. The towing company is called *** Towing, LLC. I have the tow receipt. Apr 4th, the technician drove my car around from the back of the shop, to the service bay. I saw the truck up on the lift, to be inspected. The technician tells me to wait for John. John comes in, and tells me to wait until Monday for my truck to be inspected. At this point, I decided to have the truck towed to the dealer. Apr 6th, Keith, who is my service advisor, asked for service records. I gave him the invoice from the oil change that occurred on Apr. 1st. On Apr 7th, I received a call from Keith stating what the technician's findings were, and that the warranty on the engine would not be covered, due to negligence on Dignity Star Tire's work. On Apr 9th, Brian ***, ***(Ford service manager), and myself sat down. Brian(Bryan)*** requested that an oil pressure test be done, and also for Ford technician's to do a further analysis of the engine. The results of the oil test was that there was no oil pressure. This prompted *** to enter a service request to Ford Prior Approval for the repairs on Apr 9 . Warranty was denied and I was given the results of the Ford Prior Approval. The results state that the damage to the engine was caused due to 'independent oil shop failed to add proper amount of oil to engine'. The warranty claim was thus denied. Brian(Bryan) *** says that it is 'his procedure? to put the truck on the lift, after checking the dipstick to see if oil was in the engine. Brian *** also admits, that he did not get a chance to look at the truck. At this point, he is taking the word of his technician, since he did not inspect the vehicle himself. Brian(Bryan)*** has requested that Ford take a look at the oil pump to see if it was faulty. I informed Brian(Bryan)***, that I would not be paying any further money to have the engine stripped down. I informed Brian(Brian)***, of a conversation I had with ***, and another party at the dealership. I asked them, in the past 5 years, how many oil pumps have needed to be replaced. They replied none. I have incurred, and paid, a fee of $348.16, to have Ford do the initial diagnosis on the truck. I have the receipt showing this. I would like to have this money back. First, ***, Service Manager at Five Star Ford, is prepared to testify in court, that the engine damage occurred from negligence on the part of Dignity Star Tire. The fact is, that I have had this truck since Dec. 17 2019, and it has run perfectly, even after the installation of a larger wheel and tire package(commonly found on F150 trucks like mine). It was not until the oil change on Apr 1st by Dignity Star Tire, that my truck had any problems at all. While still in town thankfully, my truck had catastrophic damage to the engine on Apr. 3rd, caused by engine parts not being lubricated by oil. The timeline of the damage is not coincidental, as it has been suggested. My suspicions have been backed by ***, and the technicians at Five Star Ford.

Desired Outcome

Repair Dignity Star Tire needs to replace the engine in my truck, or pay Ford to repair it. I also need my $348.16 for the diagnostic, and return my $65 for the oil change.
