This is a scam that preys upon the elderly mostly. The person I spoke to even said that 80% of their customers are over age 55. How these businesses are allowed to even exist is beyond me. Basically my 73 year old mother receive a popup message stating she should call this number immediately as her computer had serious problems and to not shutdown because it could cause loss of data. My mother subsequently allowed them remote access to her computer. I have no idea what they did. After calling them back and being on the phone for over an hour no one could tell me what they were doing on my mom's computer and it ended with them screaming at me that I was suspicion for no reason and hanging up. Even going to www.livepcconnect.com the website is down and they told me it was my problem. Most definitely a scam to gilt our mothers, fathers, and grandparents out of the retirement. I will be waiting for any stolen credit card or bank information to be use over the next several months.
