We paid a deposit in January for the Cabin "City Lights" for July 21-24,The balance due was taken from account on 7/7/16, now our trip was paid in full! Excited for our trip here it is 9:pm 7/(nights before we leave) and our bank account had extra money in itWe checked what it was and they REFUNDED our money WITHOUT calling usWe called them them, received a return call a few minutes later stating cabin was inhabitable and if they could upgrade us they would but they had NOTHING availableHere it is peak season and I have adult couples that worked hard to save for this trip and ready to go just to be disappointed! I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING FOR US THAT WILL ACCOMMODATE ADULTS IN THAT RANGE!!! HORRIBLE BUSINESS!

In May of this year we booked Breathtaking View from Cabins of GatlinburgWe paid 50% down and paid the last 50% weeks before arrivingWe arrived at our cabin at roughly 7pmWhen we walked in it was a little run down and dirty but we figured we would clean it up and make the best of the tripWe started cleaning up and started noticing Beetles throughout the cabin on the blinds about the size of a quarterObviously we were not happy about this but figured we could kill a few bugs no big dealWe then started to notice how bad the cabin truly wasThere was at minimum a dozen live Beetles that we saw along with numerous dead ones
The flooring in the bathroom was worn down to the plywood base, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the description said nothing about a hot tub but we found one on the back deckIt was about 3-4" full of green rain water and leavesIt smelt horrible and presumably raccoons made a home under it as the insulation was strewn about all over the placeAt this point we were really mad but still had no place else to goWe continued to check out the cabin and found the upper half of a likely 2" long ck roach on the kitchen floorAt this point there was no staying in the cabinWe had been there for maybe mins and found all these issues
We called cabins of Gatlinburg twice that night and no one respondedWe then went into town and booked a hotel for the nightThe next morning which was a Monday we started calling all numbers for Cabins of Gatlinburg that we were able to findI called these numbers exactly timesNever did we get a response from ANYONEWe got an automated text message which I replied to I believe timesIt has been days since we contacted Cabins of Gatlinburg the first timeWe have yet to receive a call backWe started a dispute with our credit card company since Cabins of Gatlinburg refused to return any communication
RUN AWAY from this companyDO NOT even think about booking with themI understand they do not own the cabin so that is beyond their control but they fact that they will not return one of phone calls is ridiculousI left multiple voice mails and responded to their automated text messages to no avail

Filthy. A lot of things do not work. Will not call you back. Left numerous voice mails. They take your money and run, it appears . They do not care about customer service.

this business has terrible customer service. me and my family stayed at the garden of eden cabin in june of 2015 when we arrived to call to report damages; no one answered; I called the office several times while I was there and no one ever returned my calls or anything; I also sent emails that were never responded too. the cabin was full of ants, spiders and other little bugs; the cabin otherwise was very nice; I just feel like the customer service for cabins of Gatlinburg is terrible; I have even reached out to them after my trip and my calls and emails are sill unanswered.

I rented [redacted] the [redacted] in October of 2015. The cabin had never been cleaned from the previous renters. We could not stay. The cabin itself was so small and not upkept. The hot tub was rotten, the outdoor furnature was moldy. We were told not to arrive before 4:30PM... WE ARRIVED AT 6PM. We were also told to report any problems before 11pm... I had 3 different numbers including the after hours housekeeping number and NONE answered... So at 6pm on a Friday we were left to search for another place to stay. That made us also have to cancel our dinner plans including a proposal at the restaurant... poor poor service.
I did get a full refund though.

My husband and I stayed in Stairway to heaven and it was absolutely disgusting and outdated, nothing like what it looked like in the pictures. The wallpaper was ripped in places, there were dents and color marks all over the upstairs walls, the toilet was broken, the garbage can was broken, there was clumps of hair in the cracks of the carpet, the bed is hard as a rock and the comforter smelled strange, and whomever is in charge of that cabin was very rude when answering questions or responding to my emails about it. We actually ended up getting a hotel because it was so disgusting. I would not recommend this to anyone and these people should be ashamed of themselves.
