I had my car serviced and the body damage repaired at diversified vehicle, I was impressed by the personal care which was taken by the owner. My car went into the shop in need of quite a bit of body work and when I picked it back up it was like driving away in a new car again. I was spoken to on a level in which I could relate with. I questions were answered and I was given so much information that I felt like I went to school!! I enjoyed the feeling that someone actually cared instead of feeling like I was an invoice number waiting on payment. Thank you Samantha M. for being a place I know I can trust.

They did a terrible job painting my car and then told me that I was being picky because its my car.When I picked my car up for the third time from diversified auto many of the spots we pointed out after coming to see it the first two times were still there and many more were found. There are raised spots in the paint all across the back end of my car where the repairs were done.There are tape lines in the cracks and scratches all across my car that were not there before dropping it off at Diversified. the inside of my car was also not taken care of while on site. They did not cover anything when they were in the car and the seats were covered in white powder as well as some sort of pspray. In addition my floor mats were also not taken care of or covered and where completely white and dirty when I got the car back. Also with my car finally being clean again you could see that every panel of my car is covered in over spray any many new scratches could be pointed out. When I again pointed them out to the manager, [redacted], she told me that I was being picky because the car is like my baby and was done trying to make me happy. Desired SettlementI would like for Diversified auto to pay for my car to be repainted the the scratches and other damage to be fixed at a different repair shop.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] - OwneContact Phone: 775-343-1600Contact Email: [redacted] brought her vehicle to Diversified in March of 2015 for repairs to the left rear 1/4 panel and replacement of an aftermarket bumper. The 1/4 panel and bumper were refinished as part of the repair. Ms. [redacted] came out to look at her vehicle when it came out of the paint booth and had not yet been prepped for delivery. Ms. [redacted] found several areas she was not happy with. Although some of the spots she had an issue with were not visible to the tech, Diversified agreed to refinish the repaired areas again. The vehicle was delivered to Ms. [redacted]'s place of employment and again, she was not satisfied with the finished repair. The vehicle was brought back by the owner of Diversified and the 1/4 panel and bumper were again refinished in an attempt to satisfy this customer. The repair and refinish were inspected by the paint supplier as well as 2 un-associated insurance adjusters who had business at Diversified. All of the above complimented Diversified on the quality of both the repair and the refinish saying it was better than factory finish. Ms. [redacted]'s father came out to inspect the vehicle and said that it looked great and possibly the reason she could be able to see the imperfections she allegedly saw was because there was no "orange peel" on the repaired surface unlike the actual factory finish. Orange peel is a term used in the body shop business to describe the dimpling seen on most factory finishes of production vehicles. At that time, Diversified also noticed there was a crack in the left tail light that had not been noticed by the adjuster. This was submitted to the customer's insurance company. The day Ms. [redacted] came to pick up her vehicle, her father came out first to inspect the vehicle and brought a terry cloth rag with him and began wiping the dust off of the vehicle with the rag. An associate at Diversified noticed him and immediately told him to stop as wiping dust off of a vehicle, especially a black vehicle, in the heat of the day would cause scratches in the vehicle's finish. Mr. [redacted] thanked the associate and said he did not know that. Mr. [redacted] accepted the job and phoned his daughter to pick up the vehicle. Later that day Ms. [redacted], along with her brother, her boyfriend and her father arrived to pick up the vehicle. After examining the vehicle for quite some time, the owner of Diversified walked out and asked how Ms. [redacted] how thought it looked. Ms. [redacted] replied that there were scratches all over her vehicle. She was pointing to the top, the sides, the trunk and other areas that were not repaired nor refinished by Diversified. These were the areas,among others, her father had wiped down repeatedly with the cloth earlier in the day. The owner of Diversified expressed her thoughts, and those of others who had seen the completed vehicle, that the repair was a very good and that the refinish was very good. The statement of the owner of Diversified is as follows. "There is no pleasing this customer. Unfortunately this young lady is only 21 years old and in her mind I believe her brand new car will never be brand new again. I wish there was more that I could do. I must say that this vehicle was beautiful when it was finished (There are photos available). I truly believe the finish on our refinished areas was above and beyond factory finish. There is no Orange Peel; the color is a great match; and the repairs are flawless. I set up an appointment for Ms. [redacted] to take her vehicle over to [redacted] shop at no cost to her to have the vehicle detailed. This was simply because I hate to have unsatisfied customers as we strive to do all that is possible to keep our customers happy." Ms. [redacted] dropped the vehicle off at [redacted]'s. [redacted] called the owner of Diversified and said he thought there was a bit of overspray on the vehicle and he would need the vehicle for 2 days. Ms. [redacted] was informed of this and called Diversified to let them know she was going over to pick up the vehicle at [redacted] shop because she couldn't leave it there for 2 days as she did not have a vehicle. The owner of Diversified offered to allow Ms. [redacted] to drive her personal vehicle to which Ms. [redacted] responded that she did not like the color of the vehicle and she would rather ride her bike. The owner of Diversified told Ms. [redacted] to make the appointment for whenever it was convenient for her at [redacted] shop and the cost would be covered. Ms. [redacted] replied that she would schedule it. Ms. [redacted] did not contact Diversified further and instead filed this complaint with your company.Please note that Ms. [redacted]'s insurance company was notified at the time Ms. [redacted] picked up the car and of the fact that she was not satisfied. Photos were sent to the insurance adjuster. Several photos are available upon request of the finished vehicle. Thank you.
