In response to the very untrue and sad claims of my former clients wife [redacted];
First, the only dealings as far as this siding job was concerned that I had with [redacted] were the
receiving of the check, very little discussion was with [redacted]...

regarding the work performed on the house
at 2216 Perry st, all of the dealings were made with [redacted].
[redacted]’s opinion of the siding being a hack job; the Dutch lap double four style siding and white trim
accents were installed correctly and to code, all five of the windows I installed were installed absolutely
correct and the extra free work I performed: installing an exterior porch ceiling light and installing a wall
mount mailbox were installed correctly. I have before, during and after photographs of everything that
was performed on this house. The sub-contractor I used made some mistakes that were immediately
addressed and corrected. The total of this job was $6400.00 not $8000.00.
Every day I was not on the job I called or did stop by and asked these clients if they were absolutely
satisfied with progress and the installation to which they always indicated yes they were and any items
they were not satisfied with I addressed on the spot. Before I took on this job I did a roof repair for
[redacted] and it did have a small leak which I addressed immediately and there has not been an issue since,
to my knowledge. I was warned to not do any business with these people from several other people who
know them, work with them, have done work for them, even the clients own family but I always try to
give everyone in life a fair shake and this time I was definitely wrong to go against the advice to stay
away.
Before I even attempted to start this job I made [redacted] aware that I was not registered and if I was going
to take on this project I would have to register because this project would take me real close to the 5000
mark as required by the HIA (home improvement act) and that I did not have my proposals made up yet
to which the client just asked that I start the project anyway, and I agreed. Also, the client agreed that if I
was to give him such a large discount on the job he would understand that I would have to take my time
and do what I could when I could to which he agreed, according to my bidding system and three other
contractors I spoken to about this project the job should have been done for $10,500, being a small time
contractor with very little overhead I try to provide clients with great discounts to save them money
where I can and to get a decent name out there as a professional and affordable contractor have just
started going strong with my own company but I have been in this business for 20 years as of this
September and have learned ways to save money and I have built relationships with local supply houses
to get discounts wherever I can and pass them along to all my clientele. I do this not just to help myself
and my family but to help everyone else I can, however I can, that is one of the main reasons I do this. To
help people not to hurt them or rip them off!
The start date was not May rt it was May 7th, I asked for the material deposit up front which came to
$3967.90 and the client had already made out a check for $4,700.00 stating that he wanted to give me a
little extra up front to take care of my bills and have some pocket money to which I agreed. I told [redacted]
the material was a week out from being delivered and I was not going to start until the following week
which he didn’t have any type of problem with.
As far as the material and small amount of debris, everything was neatly stacked in the clients back yard
between his shed and fence to give him enough room to mow, cook out, whatever. At the end of every
day I cleaned up and ran a magnet through the driveway and yard to collect any nails or metal shavings
that would pose a risk to tires. The siding and accessories that were on the job to complete it were
neatly stacked and organized, any damage done to that material had to have been done by humans not
weather, its vinyl siding. There was exactly 1 square more than was needed to complete the job just in
case it was needed, there were also 2 to 5 pieces each of all accents and accessories for the same
reason.
I am very disappointed that this lady has not only filed a complaint with the attorney general and the
Revdex.com but to all of her neighbors with two of which I was to estimate and perform work
for, now those leads are lost, losing me a significant amount of work if I would have landed those
projects.
I have only been in business for myself for a short time and am going through a learning curve as far as
the business management aspect but I own my mistakes and am happy to give a reasonable effort to
make them right, however, in this case the clients already have gotten more than they paid for and have
run my name through the mud for whatever the reasoning may be.
As far as this pill thing, I was sitting in my work vehicle during my break and eating my lunch at which
time I was taking my scheduled, prescribed medication when a very drunk [redacted] was on the porch
watching me without me being aware and said” 000...you got some good stuff?” to which I replied, just
my scheduled meds, and she proceeded to tell me the list of meds she was on and how her husband
takes all her pain meds 4 to 6 at a time and goes out on his “benders”. Later on in the day I asked if I
could use the restroom which is upstairs of their home and you have to walk through the living room by
the coffee table where [redacted] had her 20 bottles of pills and I made the comment “ I guess they just give
you more as we grow older’ [redacted] then asked me what I was taking, to which I was reluctant to even say
a word but I told her blood pressure stuff and heart stuff and some minor pain stuff, and she asked me if
I had any pills I wanted to loan her and she would give them back to which I said no I do not and
cannot...that is why she threw the pill thing in there. Also, the storm window was removed from the
porch by the clients not me or anyone else.
Hindsight is always 20/20; I should not have taken on this project and took the advice of the people who
know the [redacted]s well. The only time I asked for extra money was for material that [redacted] wanted the
porch ceiling changed, and I made the mistake of not following the HIA guidelines of getting a written
change order to do these people a favor to which it has obviously bit me.
The reasons I did not complete the rest of the job are because 1) the north side of the house I couldn’t
get access to because the neighbors threatened to call the police and press trespassing charges on
anyone who attempted to use his property in any way to do anything for the [redacted]s, I made [redacted]
aware of this and he said he would take care of it, 2 days later I again attempted to set up in a very small
section of the neighbor’s yard( the house sits 18 inches away from the neighboring property which I
would need about 20 inches to give my ladders a safe slant to work from) again [redacted](the neighbor)
said” I have nothing against you but I absolutely hate those people and will not help them in any way,
they are bad people” so I cannot and will not have any part of my yard used to help them.2) I had 2
other sub-contractors on site and both of them were offered the balance owed to me to take over the
project even during my daily asking of satisfaction and happiness to which not one time did [redacted] say he
wasn’t satisfied, so after the second guy was offered the balance owed to me plus some I decided that
was a breach of our agreement and arrangement and walked off the job...reluctantly. I have never
walked away from any job I have ever been a part of, I marry each job and take great pride, care and
love into all aspects of this work, I love what I do, I live what I do and! always try to my absolute best
ability to make sure every person I ever deal with is 100% satisfied. I’m very sorry the [redacted]s feel that I
have done them wrong when it was definitely the other way around,
One last thing, the guy I left on the job whom I had absolutely no idea he was on some sort of
monitoring device, he lied to me about all sorts of things, his name was [redacted] and he just so happens to
be [redacted]’s nephew, naturally I assumed the nephew of my clients wife would be alright alone at his
aunt’s house.
[redacted]s, I’m sorry you feel the way you do, [redacted], I wish you were a little more truthful in all the nasty
claims you have made against me however, I’m a very compassionate man and will do whatever I can
within my reasonable means to still help you people out.
Thanks, God Bless

Review: He was given half of money down to buy material and start on roof. He claims he was robbed by someone and they took my money from him. Not only has he failed to provide material, he has failed to show up to work on the roof even after we offered to provide material.Desired Settlement: Refund the $1650.00 given to him for materials not bought and services not fullfilled

Review: [redacted] from Do It All Contracting Services started a siding job on May 1st 2014. Contractor did not provide a legal contract wanted half down balance upon completion for 8000 job. But after collecting $4700 down for a siding job, another $400 week later, another $300 cash 2 days later because he needed to pay an employee, another $800 because he did not quote the materials correctly and had to get more, and $200 thereafter the contractor stopped showing up. He also sent an employee monitored by an ankle bracelet who was alone on the job. Dept of probation came to jobsite looking for the employee. Not only did contractor stop showing up, he ruined the downspouts I had on the house that he took down, broke a storm window took it and never brought it back, left all of the wood that was rotted that he removed nails and a huge pile of debris and never removed it from my yard, and the work that was partially completed was a hack job. I had 3 other contractors come out to bid on fixing it and finishing the job all of which stated the entire job would need to be started over and the partial job this contractor did needed to be ripped down. The company was not registered through Atty Generals Office in PA, as required. Did not follow their guidelines as required through the Home Improvement Consumer's Act. Registration took place after taking my money and running. The job was overcharged x4 according to my new contract through another company. [redacted], the owner, saw a prescription bottle of pain pills in my living room and later asked if he could have some of the pain pills. Do not do business with this company He is fly by night, scammed me, and this supposed experienced contractor did not know what he was doing and scammed me. He is also extremely unprofessional.Desired Settlement: Total refund of all money paid. Downspouts replaced Storm window replaced Costs to remove debris left in yard new materials to replace already purchased materials that were left outside in my yardand ruined dude you sitting there for one and one half months. time, cost in labor for my husband having to fix windows that were not installed correctly. legal costs

John started work on my fence last summer, after he went against our contract that he wrote up numerous times he finally finished the job. He then came back to repair the job because he did not do a good job the first time, he also asked for more money which I mistakenly gave him. He wrote up the contract to include a 18 month warranty, I haven't heard from John in months. Ignores my calls, emails, etc. The fence he put up for me is falling apart.
