Review: I paid in full for the repair of a fence that was damaged. The companies est was two to at most three weeks it has been seven almost eight weeks and my fence is still not repaired. The fence company has stopped returning my phone calls or emails. I would like my fence fixed or my money back so that I may hire someone else, as they have wasted my time and left my property open to vandalization.Desired Settlement: I'd like the job to be done or my money back
Review: On November 15, 2013 I cancelled a verbal contract with Doerre Fence for a small installation at my home. The owner has refused to refund my deposit of $788.59 as I requested. I had given them the deposit on April 12, 2013, anticipating a Spring installation. As Spring arrived and plants surrounding the area were beginning to bloom, and I did not want them disturbed, I asked if they could wait until Fall to replace my fence. Since they had done work for us years ago, and I was satisfied, I stated that they could hold my deposit. I began calling weekly around the end of September for an installation date, and was continually put off. They could never give me a date. Finally, they called and said they could do it the end of November. By that time it would be too cold to stain the fence, and it would be unsightly until Spring. I then said I wanted to wait until Spring, and could they please return my deposit. They have refused to do so.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit of $788.59 returned to me.

In April 19 0f2013: Mr and Mrs [redacted] contracted us to put up a partial fence on their property. 111 May 5,01'2013, [redacted] called and said they wanted to wait till Fall to get this installed. At this point, my supplier had built this fence and it was ready to be picked up. My supplier waived the restock fee and said “It can be used elsewhere”. [redacted] then called back after September 121, 2013 and said to go ahead with the fence. My supplier built another fence. On November 14, 2013, [redacted] called and I stated the fence was built and it would be installed before the end of the month. [redacted] called back and said she wanted to cancel fence due to the fact that she did not want to 'sook at an unstained fence all winter. I called my supplier to ask to cancel a Second time and they said they would have to charge 350.00 restocking fee this time due to the fact it was season end and it could not be used elsewhere. I wrote to [redacted] and stated that she would be able to have us pick up the fence and store for the winter and then install in the spring or I would her deposit minus the 350.00 fee that is charged to us. The response from the [redacted] was “Save your stories, I have contacted the Revdex.com and started legal". I have enclosed the email from them.
Doerre Fence C0. is not in business to make customers mad, but I feel that if they wanted us to do this fence they would have us pick it up and hold it for the winter and install in the spring. Either way, this company has been charged 350.00 for the fact that they do not want the fence anymore and I feel [flat is their excuse of not wanting to see an unstained fence all winter: is not good enough. I am still willing to do either of the suggestions laid out.
