Dog Saver Rescue

As the representative of Dog Saver I was very suprised and shocked by the letter from the Revdex.comWe have been in the rescue world for over years and have never had this happenThe adoption that we recieved the complaint about was handled poorly by the foster who did the adoptionShe knows very
well that all the dogs paperwork has to be present at the adoptionShe did wrong and takes responsibility for her mistakeShe did however email the adopter copies of the dogs medical records the same day as the adoption occuredThe rescue itself had no knowledge of the issue until the adopter contacted us several weeks laterWhen the adopter contacted us she wanted the rabies tag for the dog, which was mailed to her that weekShe also claimed that we had been untruthful about the dogs behavior to which we explained that we did not know anything about the dogs past and everything the person the dog had been in a fosterhome with told us about the dog is what she was told about its personality at the adoptionUnfortunatley with rescue dogs it is sometimes impossible to know what they have been through in the past, especially with this girl who came from a high-kill facility in another stateWe did offer to take the dog back into the rescue and reimbursh her the adoption fee even though it had been long over the day period we have stated in our adoption agreementAfter the initial contact with the rescue itself we had not heard anything else from the adopter so we assumed everybody was happy after she recieved the rabies tagOur foster who did the adoption then informed us recently that the adopter was still calling her and apparently now wanting the original copy of the health cerificate we recieved when we pulled the dog from the facility she came fromThe health cerificate is however not for the adopter, it is to go with the dog from point A to B as it crosses the stateline/s as a reincurance from the facility the dog came from to the rescue that is recieving the dog that the dog was in good health when it left their facilityAnyone who has been involved in rescue and transporting know that sometimes things can happen during transportThe health certificate is also for the Deperment of Agriculture incase there would be an outbreak of any sickness so they can trace the sourceThis whole adoption has been very unfortunateOur goal has always been, and will always be, to make our dogs and adopters happyAt this point in time we are just sad that it had to come to this and that the adopter is so unhappy with the adoptionWe do wish the adopter would have contacted the rescue itself right away and all of this could have been resolved a long time ago Thank you
