To be honest, I am not sure how to respond to such unfounded accusations We have been in business as Double Easy Ranch for over years and have never had a single complaint to the Revdex.comThe accusations stated are not true with perhaps the exception of size of her water trough I thought is was a gallon trough and the fact that it is gallon trough is as meaningless to me as the balance of her rant The County was called by some "mystery person", however, the horse in question is still with us In fact, one of the investigators has consulted my husband about bringing his horse in for training The County inspector had a friendly and lengthy discussion with my husband and the owner of the horse in question (the owners of this horse happen to be lovely and very caring people) The inspector left without the horse and there has never been a follvisit because no first visit was necessary No feeding was ever missed for any horse, and our horses do not go without water- ever We have multiple boarders who have been with us for an extended period of time, ranging from year to years If the conditions at Double Easy Ranch are as poor as [redacted] described, how was she able to stay for 1/months without voicing ANY of her concerns? We have many clients, both past and present, that will provide glowing recommendations for Double Easy Ranch and [redacted] *** If you would like to hear from them, please let us know Sincerely, [redacted] Double Easy Ranch

We have boarded 4 of our horses over the years at Double Easy Ranch. We moved from out of state sight unseen in June 2015. Our two horses flourished under the care and management of owner Wrangler Todd. His knowledge, care and dedication to our animals and clients is excellent. We boarded our two equines for 8 months while our their home stalls were been built. Mr. Cluff, knowing we were in process of building, on numerous occasions even offered for us to borrow horse panels to build temporary stalls at our home to save money for boarding. The care from this ranch, is not about money, its about people and horses.
When we purchased our 3rd horse, the young colt boarded again here for months for hands on care . We have boarded here over the years with new additions to our herd and training. In case of ANY emergency, on site as a boarder, or a phone call away as a neighbor, Todd Cluff and team have come to many rescues. I recently had our son's new little pony colic while we were away and Todd was worked with us and our vet to save her. our pony's colic required IV treatments and Todd was up with her all night walking her, checking her and changing out IV bags per doctor's orders. All the while, calling or texting with updates.
we all know that horse owners can be a little crazy ….we love our animals. Any person who would or could have issues with this place or the owner, trust me ...its THEM not Todd or Double Easy Ranch. Todd is way to laid back to engage.
This place, cleans stalls, has auto waterers and or water buckets in stalls, good feed, etc. My horses have all boarded here in summer months. NOT once were water levels, quality or conditions EVER a issue.
Respectfully,
Heather L. Sparks
Client since 2015

We are writing in response to the above referenced complaint from [redacted].  [redacted] boarded her horse with us on a month to month basis.  She paid her board on the first of each...

month in the amount of $275.00.  She informed us she would be moving her horse to another facility and left on September 9th.  She decided on her own to move her horse prior to the end of the month and wanted a refund for the unused portion of her board.  She was informed that we would not refund the balance as we had not asked her to leave, that was her decision. When she demanded a refund we told her she was welcome to return for the balance of the month of September and we would fulfill our obligation.

Many accommodations were made for [redacted] from the beginning of her horses stay with us.  She replaced a 30 gallon water trough with a 75 gallon water trough and insisted on refilling the trough daily, put goldfish in the trough, and then dumped the trough every other day just to refill the trough again.  When we objected to the waste of water resources she decided it was time to leave.

[redacted] has been to multiple horse facilities in a short period of time, in fact we collected [redacted] and her horse from another facility in which she was very unhappy prior to arriving here.  We wish her and her horse the best of luck, and hope she is able to find an environment that will meet and satisfy her eccentricities.

Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The information and statements contained in the response are inaccurate and untrue. I would like to first address the claim that I have moved from several facilities. It is true that this business did help me move from a prior boarding stable that was not suitable for my horse. The prior stable required notice and other protocols for leaving the facility, all of which where followed. I had moved to the prior facility sight unseen from [redacted] in December 2013. Regardless of how many questions that can be asked and references that can be obtained it does not always work out in person after traveling 2000 miles to an unseen facility. Prior to moving to the New River, AZ area I have kept my horse at a facility in [redacted] for a very long duration, documentation of this can be provided. To say that I have moved from multiple facilities is simply untrue.
The response states that the business was accommodating. I did purchase a trough that was 100 gallons, not the stated 75 gallons (I have the trough available for verification). My horse is from a very different climate where water is plentiful and I wanted to be certain he had adequate water at all times to prevent dehydration and potentially colic (which can be life threatening). I had purchased this trough to allow him to have adequate water as I could not be present daily to monitor his water needs as the business was well aware-thus I was using boarding services. Horses on the property have run out of water on hot summer days on multiple occasions of which I have witnesses to attest to. It is untrue that I dumped the 100 gallon trough every other day and wasted water. I did clean the trough weekly and had placed two goldfish in the trough to eat the algae that builds up. I would try and time the cleaning when the water level got lower so as not to waste water. This was complicated by [redacted] (business owner) filling it on days I was attempting to let it get low. Nothing was said about emptying the trough weekly to clean it, thus I was unaware there were any concerns. [redacted] had asked me to not fill it as full so that he could add more fresh water to old water daily. I agreed to this until I noticed the water level in a 100 gallon tank was only about two inches from the bottom (I can provide a witness to this as well). This is NOT adequate water, especially in the desert climate. I had attempted to discuss this with the business owner a couple days prior to September 9th and he would have no part in my concerns. Other horses had run out of water and it was a risk I was unwilling to take with my horse. My horse, which is considered my property, is a very large investment and I could not risk a loss to my investment or damage to my property, due to negligence, therefore I had to leave the business prior to the end of the month. Offering to allow me to bring the horse back and finish the months services is not a valid option, services were not performed due to negligence on the business's part and a refund should be issued for the duration in which these services were not provided.
I provided daily feed for my horse in containers that could be easily fed once daily. It was agreed that [redacted] (business owner) would feed one container per day in the evening. On Friday mornings I would ration out seven containers of feed. When I would go to prepare the next weeks rations there would be feed left over. On one account my horse went unfed for four days. [redacted] would claim he had fed the horse everyday but the containers would have full rations of feed in them so this was not possible. This showed the dishonesty that was occurring with this business and its supposedly provided services.
The facility that the business is run out of is not up kept and is filthy. I was unaware of this prior to moving to the facility. I had to clean my own pen with no compensation and did not complain or ask for compensation. Animal control visited the property shortly prior to September 9th for to a call on a horse that was malnourished and treated inhumanely (the county can provide documentation of this). This business cannot expect clientele to keep their horses/investments at a place where they are at risk. I had no choice but to protect my investment and a refund should be provided for negligent care.
Regards,
[redacted]

To be honest, I am not sure how to respond to such unfounded accusations.
We have been in business as Double Easy Ranch for over 16 years and have never had a single complaint to the Revdex.com. The accusations stated are not true with perhaps the exception of size of her water trough.  I thought is was a 75 gallon trough and the fact that it is 100 gallon trough is as meaningless to me as the balance of her rant.
The County was called by some "mystery person", however, the horse in question is still with us.  In fact, one of the investigators has consulted my husband about bringing his horse in for training.  The County inspector had a friendly and lengthy discussion with my husband and the owner of the horse in question (the owners of this horse happen to be lovely and very caring people).  The inspector left without the horse and there has never been a follow-up visit because no first visit was necessary.  No feeding was ever missed for any horse, and our horses do not go without water- ever.
We have multiple boarders who have been with us for an extended period of time, ranging from 1 year to 6 years.  If the conditions at Double Easy Ranch are as poor as [redacted] described, how was she able to stay for 2 1/2 months without voicing ANY of her concerns?
We have many clients, both past and present, that will provide glowing recommendations for Double Easy Ranch and [redacted].  If you would like to hear from them, please let us know.
