Review: I called this doctor for an eye examination, and ten days before my appointment I provided all my insurance information and talked to the secretary and made sure that I only pay my 20 dlr copay. Once, I was in the office secretary asked for my copay which I payed immediately. The doctor did my normal eye examination and gave me a new prescription. After a month I started receiving more bills from the doctor. I called the office they say that doctor did some more additional tests without my consent. All these test which she did were unnecessary and did not mention about additional charges to me. I declined to pay these additional charges and finally they handed over to a collection agency. I am a senior citizen with a minimum social security income. Please help me and get this matter resolved from this corrupt doctor.Desired Settlement: The collection agency is harassing me. Please call this doctor to stop harassing me.

I am sorry there was a misunderstanding. I reviewed the chart and the bill. The situation is that [redacted] came in on January 30, 2014 with complaints of itching, wet eyes, occasional headaches with blurry vision during work.

His vision with his glasses of 2010 was 20/40 and 20/25. A refraction was necessary and he was corrected to 20/25 in each eye with a change in refraction. A complete dilated eye exam revealed beginning cataract, dry eye syndrome, and drusen for which fundus pictures were recommended. Patient could have refused the pictures but did go ahead with them. As per his insurance we were asked to bill the patient the rest of the approved balance. He has signed papers in the office saying he is responsible for uncovered ' charges.
