Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] We never requested to cancel the windows, and the representative my husband spoke to after many many attempts told him we would get a refund back in 7-days, also no where on the contract does it say that if we cannot finance we could not get our deposit back, the representative that came to our home assured us that if our credit did not go through we would get our deposit back, I find it very interesting the quick response from the company after contacting the Revdex.com, because they do not respond to calls or messages we have left, we still feel we should get back our deposit, mainly because like I mentioned above the representative Steve said we had nothing to worry about we WOULD get our money back, or are they trying to keep our money because they spent an hour in our home trying to sell us there product Thank you

Dear Mrand Mrs [redacted] , I apologize for any inconvenience this situation has brought to you, and we have made sure to thoroughly examine your position and the contract between us written on November 25th, There are no contingencies included or amended on the contract of any kind, and therefore if you are not approved for financing through our company you would choose from the following options: secure your own line of financing, pay cash, credit card, or include a guarantor or co-signer on our finance application and try again to get approved In your case if it takes an extended amount of time for you to gather the funding necessary we will continue to delay and wait until your finances are secure Unfortunately if you sign a contract to purchase a good or service at an agreed upon amount, you are responsible for following through with the payment Refunds are only processed and returned if the contract is cancelled within the 3-Day Right to Cancel time frame, which is stated times on the contract you signed Otherwise the contract remains active and we will move forward when you secure payment If you do not have your copies of the contract anymore we would be happy to provide you with a set and send them to you Our production department has spoken a few times with you by phone regarding this contract and please do not hesitate to call again for any clarification or to discuss a viable option to move forward Thank you

Dear ***, I apologize that you feel we did not honor the contract and still wanted the windows to be installed by us. When I came to your home to complete the financing paperwork I also noticed the windows were more intricate than previously known, being that many of... them are stacked windows. This was not written on the work order by ***. For example, in your bedroom there are a few picture windows over XO sliders, which means for us it's 2 windows that we weld together. The cost for us dramatically increases and this was also the case in other rooms, almost doubling the number of actual windows. The salesman took your husband's offer at $10k and our intention was to complete the job, but after coming out and seeing what it entailed, there's no way we could move forward because you were quoted too low. We would rather let you know in the beginning than start the job and ask for more money later. Again, I'm sorry you are disappointed and wish there was something we could do.

Dear Ms. [redacted],

I am so sorry you felt uncomfortable with the appointment that took place and I can assure you [redacted] works for this company and is a window and exterior specialist.  I am not sure why [redacted] told you that only one of the other representatives would be...

arriving since it is the sales manager who makes that decision, but I will speak to him about that because I can understand why you would be surprised when a different individual showed up at your door.  In order for [redacted] to have given you an estimate he would have needed to measure all the windows which may be why he was heading towards the other rooms in your place, including your bedroom, but I can also understand why that would be extremely suspect if he did not explain himself.  I will make sure he fully understands how uncomfortable he made you and that it is a part of his job to explain what he needs to measure in a home and why, and furthermore ask permission to enter different parts of the home.

I hope you do not feel in harms way and if need be please call our office, 866-422-6199, and I would be happy to speak with you by phone.  The sales representatives do not keep any of your information, and do not receive your phone numbers.

In the future if you have any questions, please call the number above for clarification on any issue or question.

Thank you for writing and expressing your experience.

Sincerely,

DreamView

Review: I paid $1,000.00 good faith money for building and installing windows

and now no one is responding to my calls. The windows were to be

installed the first week of February. How may I proceed with this

company since they are now out-of-business?Desired Settlement: Refund my money and/or have their contractor contact me to

install the contracted Atrium windows which may have been

already manufactured.

Review: I notified the company within 3 business days that I was canceling the contract. The company has not acknowledged the cancelation nor have they returned my $500 down payment. Now they are no longer accepting our phone calls.Desired Settlement: Company to acknowledge cancelation and refund $500 down payment.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]

Review: This company continues to call my phone number which is on every do not call list there is.So far I have 9 calls from there.I did not nor have I ever requested information or services from them.Desired Settlement: Stop calling me.

Review: Yesterday 10-9-10 a canvasser from Dream View named [redacted] set up an apt for estimate for window replacement for 10:00AM for estimate rrom sales person. He called his supervisor who stated that either [redacted] or [redacted] would be coming & they would have a company ID on them.

A gentleman named [redacted] appeared at my door & I questioned whether he was with the company. he stated that the company did not give him a badge. So thinking how could someone else know about this appt. be appearing at my door I foolishly let him in. We chatted for about 5 minutes and then he asked me some questions about how many windows, etc. He measured some of the windows and kept pacing around and finally he sat down at my table & did some calculations. When I asked him of approximate low ball figure for replacement windows he said he couldn't tell me. We would have to choose type & quality, etc. When I told him I wasn't going to buy today he kept pacing around my living room & then made a call the his "supervisor" informing her of my intentions. I asked him on several occasions to speak to his supervisor and I would tell her. He said she won't talk to me which seems a little suspicious. He kept trying to walk into my bedroom which we hadn't even gone into previously. I stayed in my dining room and felt like I was trying to keep I from entering my bedroom. I told him I had another appt. to go to and that he would have to leave. He seemed reluctant to go, but thank God he left. I felt like maybe he was casing out my place. I need to know if this is a legitimate employee of this company . I am now fearful that maybe this was not a legitimate salesperson and if he is I don't think you would want to employ someone of this character. this was suppose to be a no obligation to buy presentation. He didn't really pressure me to buy, but seemed reluctant to leave when I told him I was no longer interested.Desired Settlement: I need to know if this was a legitimate employee of the company or if I need to call the Police dept.

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: As I was looking and trying to choose the nature of my complaint I noticed that It was impossible to only pick one because a lot apply to my situation. They don't answer our calls. They took 550 from my bank account without permission. They were given $1900 as a deposit and also promised to finance the total cost of $10000 but they have not done so and the service has not been done either. I was also pressured by the owner to sign a new contract under the threat that if I didn't legal fees would be more costly than going through with the contract. In the new contract after I had signed it she then changed the late fee charge without my consent or knowing. I was being charged a late fee of $250 and I found that to high a late fee. I would call them several times to ask when they would install the windows but they never answered. Since the service was never provided I didn't send any more money because I feel I can't trust them as a legitimate business. Also in the next page you want information on an order number or model number but none are in the forms we have.Desired Settlement: I just want the money I put for the service that was never done to be given back to me.

Review: We signed a contract with DreamView on 7/29/14 to replace all windows in our home for $10,003.00. We met with the salesman's supervisor, [redacted] on 7/30/14 at our home to review the contract which she did & she checked all the windows we were replacing. We discussed the color of the window frames and chose a white interior with bronze exterior for an additional $600.00 raising the new total price to $10.603.00. We signed the new contract on 7/30/14. [redacted], the window installer, came by to measure the windows on 7/31/14. We recently had a new kitchen installed in our home including custom granite throughout. One of the windows we were replacing is a kitchen garden window. [redacted] told us the new granite surrounding the window would have to be removed and replaced in order to install the window. We did not want this to happen & reported same to [redacted]. He said he would advise the office of the change when he returned that day. We left vm messages w/DreamView & spoke w/[redacted] & [redacted] and were told they needed to have a meeting re this & would get back w/us. After waiting several days, we were informed that a credit would be funded to us in the amount of $380.00. We did not agree with the credit amount & told [redacted] so. We spoke w [redacted] on 8/7/14 and were told she would be sending us a cancelation notice because they were not making any profit on our job. We told her we were ready to go forward with the contract to have the windows installed. She said she was mailing us a cancelation notice. We do not understand why the company did not honor the contract & think you should know this. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Honor its contracts.

Dear [redacted],

Review: In November 2013 two salesmen came to our home to sell windows, my husband and I decided we would like them to install the windows so we signed a contract and paid a deposit, we were also told that we could finance the windows, but if our credit did not pass we would get our deposit back which also is in our contract ,our credit did not pass so they requested more money my husband told them no we did not have more money to give them he spoke to a [redacted] after many attempts to try to speak to someone to try to resolve this issue she told my husband that it would take 10 days for us to get a refund it has now been over a month and when we try calling they never answer the phoneDesired Settlement: All we are requesting is for them to give us back our money $525.00

Dear Mr. and Mrs. [redacted],

Review: This company received our information somehow and have been calling my cell phone for the past few months. They never leave a message and when I call them back to ask them to stop calling me nothing happens. They continually call me day and night and hang up the phone when I answer the call. I looked them up on Yelp and there has been several reviews that confirm that they do this to other people as well.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like this company to get fined or have their illegal practices shut down.

Response:

Dear Sir,

Review: The Project took well over 16 months to complete, during this time I took countless days off of work to help Shepard them through this delivery and installation process. Dream View made multiple delivery failures on products ordered and damaged products. I have now been told they can not match the same color on the windows and doors and I need to accept it or I would void my warranty.Desired Settlement: DreamView is completely at fault for the delays along with Superior their vendor. I would like to be compensated for my time.
